RECORDING 2: THE FIRST WEEK

It's been two days since the doors locked....and only a day since the living room became completely impassable, with something lurking inside of it. Not only that, but due to the actions of those who went to investigate the strange event, Miasma now faintly lingers in the hallways - akin to the tiny clouds that were around camp, floating around aimlessly and clinging to whatever it can. Due to this, everyone is always in contact with it, in one way or another...and the start of curse is now inside nearly all of the Agents, save those lucky few able to either resist or somehow nullify it.
Though the effects are small, they still linger. Unease and negative emotions come quicker, and little fights here and there are much more likely to break out in the course of everyday life in this house.
Speaking of which, the temperature remains a consistent comfortable early to mid 70's in the house. It appears at least that you'll be here in comfort..? And look, you even have more space to use! Everything else seems to work as well, at least for now.
It might be in your best interests to wait, and try and find a way out later.
...Or maybe, that'll just invite disaster...?
Either way - for now...there's no escape.
Investigation - Staff Bedroom
[ Following that shitshow of a forced gathering and out of protest to prove that thing wrong, Gilgamesh will set out to check what has been unveiled as of this week, via investigation.
His first place of interest would be the staff bedroom, naturally enough. He will be instantly going to check out the desk. Anything inside any of the drawers, assuming that they'll be able to open?
Anyone, of course, was free to walk in on him doing as much. ]
Closed to Romani: Nebulously sometime in the Kitchen
[ Sometime late afternoon, regardless of whatever or wherever the red head was doing his business, Gilgamesh went through the trouble to track him down. ]
You. We need to talk.
Now.
[ He'll head to the Laundry Room after speaking in a tone that brooked no argument, and began to head in that direction. Assuming Romani followed as planned, he'll have closed the door, with his back against it. No one was getting in for a little bit. ]
Room 7 Chat
[ Yesterday and today were two absolute disasters and merely proved that he was surrounded by a plethora of idiots. Though he assumed competence was low, he hadn't anticipated that it'd get them into a difficult position so early on. It was clear he couldn't really trust anyone to act smart, except for a handful of people, and even then...he wasn't about to hold out hope that would remain constant either.
So here he was, sitting on his bed in the evening. Regardless, he's seen his roommates and he's not impressed.
Why would he be? One of them HAD been responsible for yesterday's chaos, even if it was due to sheer ignorance. Either way, he should probably get a little more information on them even if he didn't care for names and hardly remember any that had been uttered in passing yesterday. ]
You three, tell me your names!
If either of you also have anything else worth my time to hear, continue to speak up. Otherwise, other than an introduction, you can be silent.
Wild Card
[ Feel free to throw a unique prompt here, because I'm up for whatever as always. ]
w-w-w-wildcard
What is Goldie up to? ]
no subject
Not like he could talk for fashion sense, on account of his current outfit, with the silly little jacket, but it's fine. ]
...Hmph. Even the clothes here are underwhelming.
no subject
[ Flayn takes a look around. But. All this stuff is so pretty??? ]
What standard of clothes are you used to, sir?
no subject
[ Robes were so much more easier to do those in. Also it made taking off clothes much easier as well.
Granted, in all honesty, the clothing selection was probably fine. He just was picky, used to having much more glamorous options, among other things. ]
If you had been to the city of Uruk in its prime, you would understand immediately why the clothing design would've been far superior to any of these. Though, I've also seen other types of clothing appear superior to what's available here.

Investigation
If he inspects them further, he'll find they are a list of tasks to complete for the day, mundane notes about what needs to be stocked up, and the like. ]
no subject
After scoping out each drawer thoroughly, would the chests be locked or would they be able to be opened? ]
no subject
The trunks are unlocked. Opening the chests will reveal plain clothes and maid uniforms from the Edwardian period. He will also find a book in one of them. It's a copy of 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' from the late 1890's. ]
no subject
Debaucherous thoughts about people in maid uniforms aside,He'll leave the uniforms where they were, carefully closing the ones that have said clothing inside of them, because he simply had no use for them.Though...he'll leave the trunk that had the book open so he could pick up said piece of literature and flip through the pages. Was it just a normal book here, was there something of note about it? ]

Room 7
Hmm... ]
Mo Xuanyu and I definitely don't have anything interesting to share that's worth your time.
[ If he pays attention though, he might catch that it looks like his pouch...moved a little. Or maybe it's the lighting? ]
no subject
So time to sail right past the comment the other one said, following a raised brow. ]
What do you have in that pouch of yours? Something moved.
no subject
Don't worry about it. It's just my dear friend inside.
[ Making sure he has everything he needs before he starts heading towards the door ]
no subject
[ That's his current guess based on size, though he figured it could be a small lizard or something. ]
Though, it is late. Where do you plan on going in this accursed place?
[ Just in case he went missing, because Gilgamesh wasn't exactly leaping at joining him. ]
OMG I DIDNT GET THIS TAG I'm sorry

King Gilgamesh...? What is it?
rest in pieces, doc
I won't waste my breath in saying how lucky you were for not dying for a stupid reason, as unsurprising that would be. Yet, there were two others who managed to somehow do worse than you have. That said, I'll make this brief.
[ He'll just put it out there, voice still full of disdain, despite him not entirely blaming Romani for his part to play in angering that spirit. ]
I've hardly figured out anything useful to our current situation. Even what I saw didn't seem to be of any value to us right now—anything that is seems to be obscured by that miasma. But, I will tell you what I saw nonetheless. As useless as it is, it may be a subsequent consequence on how this situation 'plays out'.
[ So in this text bar, Gilgamesh will tell the Doctor of a vision he received, summarizing events concerning Camp Petosky, in which he was privy to. He'll mention which was eighteen years from now, and dated the occurrence "Summer 2018". The kicker being there was the fact 6350's were basically now being treated as D-Class, and fed to an SCP. ]
no subject
what does shock him is the vision that gilgamesh describes to him. 2018? camp petotsky? it's difficult to mask his surprise at hearing it, and the explanation that the king gives seems to fit the narrative they're living quite well.
reduced to d-class status, huh... ]
So more instances of 6350s are being created even almost 20 years into the future? But even so, I don't see how it would make much sense that our actions here would warrant those in the future to be demoted. Even if we...even if we all die here, that would be that. The new instances shouldn't be affected by that our actions. Unless...
[ and he really doesn't like to consider this option... ]
Unless something we do here could end up threatening the entire Foundation?
no subject
And in the end, with either scenarios, the Foundation would need a scapegoat.
[ He'll think back to what the thing called them with no small amount of agitation. If he could blow this whole thing into pieces, that'd be nice. ]
Though for now even worrying about this conclusion would be a waste of time until we managed to turn this situation around on our own terms.

staff bedroom
Did you find anything interesting?
no subject
Hardly anything worth looking at. One of the drawers contained a note dated August 1922, with mindnumbing, mundane tasks including notations on what needed to be restocked and such. There was some clothing in the trunks, and a book detailing Sherlock Holmes' misadventures.
The only item that stood out thus far would be these boots.
[ Holding them up now. Foundation-made and issued. ]
Since these were already in the room, they must've belonged to an Agent from a different group.
mod ping. . . ???
I guess we can compare sizes and see if they'll fit anyone. But 1922, that's a pretty while back.
But boots?
[asking for a friend, the friend is me, what size are these boots]
Maybe it's one of the Agents that wrote the notes. Not that we'd be able to tell who exactly, these belonged to.
[because the Foundation is idiots]

Track him down he does, though, and... oh, good, he can put it off a bit.]
Have you found anything interesting thus far?
[He'll look around, partially to investigate and partially to try and ensure they're alone.]
no subject
... I have. Catch.
[ He'll start the interaction off by tossing those boots Seteth's way. Your welcome. ]
no subject
...Ah. These are the boots we have with our uniforms, aren't they?

staff bedroom, sure
The house really doesn't want us having much of a view or fresh air, hmm? Given the SCP's form, though, that's not surprising.
[He'll just lounge and watch the other guy shuffle around touching things, I guess. He doesn't seem especially inclined to help or interfere or offer anything more than commentary at this point.]
And no servants to go with the servants' quarters... Did they at least leave anything useful behind?
no subject
[ To say the least, Gilgamesh was hardly impressed. It's not the first entity that has wished the same on others.
He too will remain blissfully unaware of the true scene that lies beyond the windows, which seemed to be filtered through illusionary magic. ]
It depends on your definition of useful. There's a note with a date of August 1922 with some mundane tasks listed, clothing, a book about Sherlock Holmes and his misadventures, and a Foundation member's boots.
