RECORDING 2: THE FIRST WEEK

It's been two days since the doors locked....and only a day since the living room became completely impassable, with something lurking inside of it. Not only that, but due to the actions of those who went to investigate the strange event, Miasma now faintly lingers in the hallways - akin to the tiny clouds that were around camp, floating around aimlessly and clinging to whatever it can. Due to this, everyone is always in contact with it, in one way or another...and the start of curse is now inside nearly all of the Agents, save those lucky few able to either resist or somehow nullify it.
Though the effects are small, they still linger. Unease and negative emotions come quicker, and little fights here and there are much more likely to break out in the course of everyday life in this house.
Speaking of which, the temperature remains a consistent comfortable early to mid 70's in the house. It appears at least that you'll be here in comfort..? And look, you even have more space to use! Everything else seems to work as well, at least for now.
It might be in your best interests to wait, and try and find a way out later.
...Or maybe, that'll just invite disaster...?
Either way - for now...there's no escape.

The trunks are unlocked. Opening the chests will reveal plain clothes and maid uniforms from the Edwardian period. He will also find a book in one of them. It's a copy of 'The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' from the late 1890's. ]

Debaucherous thoughts about people in maid uniforms aside,He'll leave the uniforms where they were, carefully closing the ones that have said clothing inside of them, because he simply had no use for them.Though...he'll leave the trunk that had the book open so he could pick up said piece of literature and flip through the pages. Was it just a normal book here, was there something of note about it? ]

Almost like they were maid for it.There's a handmade bookmark in the middle of the book, but there's nothing really of note about it. There's nothing tucked away in any of the pages. ]

[ Dropping the book like it's hot back in the trunk, then.
...Well, anything underneath the pillows, blankets, and such? Might as well check the beds next so no one could whine he wasn't thorough. ]

Anyways, to the beds. He won't find anything on them, or stashed under the pillow or blankets. When he approaches the second bed, he will spot a pair of boots tucked under the bed though. They look like the standard issue pair that's part of the Foundation's uniform. ]

Anything notable about the boots he's going to take with him as he's looking them over? ]

Nothing odd about the boots! Go ahead and take your new boots, Gil ]
