RECORDING 2: THE FIRST WEEK

It's been two days since the doors locked....and only a day since the living room became completely impassable, with something lurking inside of it. Not only that, but due to the actions of those who went to investigate the strange event, Miasma now faintly lingers in the hallways - akin to the tiny clouds that were around camp, floating around aimlessly and clinging to whatever it can. Due to this, everyone is always in contact with it, in one way or another...and the start of curse is now inside nearly all of the Agents, save those lucky few able to either resist or somehow nullify it.

Though the effects are small, they still linger. Unease and negative emotions come quicker, and little fights here and there are much more likely to break out in the course of everyday life in this house.

Speaking of which, the temperature remains a consistent comfortable early to mid 70's in the house. It appears at least that you'll be here in comfort..? And look, you even have more space to use! Everything else seems to work as well, at least for now.

It might be in your best interests to wait, and try and find a way out later.

...Or maybe, that'll just invite disaster...?

Either way - for now...there's no escape.

[ A pause as he backtracks to grab his radio. ]

[ Though, him nabbing a radio did at least show to him that the black-haired man can use that head of his. ]

I suppose that's demonstrated you're at least capable of doing the bare minimum to stay in contact. Though, that is after you've been given an appropriate talking to.

[ He has an imaginary permit that says he can do whatever he wants. Attaching the radio to his belt and turning it on. ]

It's too bad that so far hardly any of you mongrels seem capable of working alone and doing your own thing without causing trouble for everyone else.

[ Sounds like totally the real deal. At first sign of trouble, as a King he will find a way to steal away that imaginary permit. ]

I would think that I've been doing pretty well so far.

[ His record is clean at the moment? He hasn't gotten knives thrown at him, wasn't outed as a womanizer, and didn't hurl demon juices at miasma? ]

Then, he'll finally allow himself to jump off of the bed, landing just fine. ]

It is you who will be spending more time with me. Though, do not think I've found you worthy of doing exactly that under normal or these circumstances—you can simply imagine it as part of that countermeasure.

[ His tone is the usual friendliness. He's getting light peacock flashbacks, but Gil seems a lot more tolerable for now. Even with the high and mighty talk.

He'll lead the way out into the hallway. ]

[ That was actually a joke. Probably.

Gilgamesh will casually reposition himself so he's walking by the other man's side, instead of trailing or behind. ]

I will tell you, however, that I had no interest in giving our superiors the time of day, and it was amusing observing their reactions when they attempted to deal with me.

[ Look he came back the last time someone tried to silence him forever.

He decides to take as a joke and snicker anyways. ]

I won't ask then. [ A pause ] Did they offer you this assignment to get a break then?
