Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Later in the day, it's clear what exactly she got, as the rumbling sound of a sewing machine can be heard hard at work in her room. It looks like she forgot to close it in her haste to get started on... whatever she's working on. The door is open, but do you dare enter the domain of an otaku?
Even if you didn't dare enter the realm of Shirogane Tsumugi, her influence is soon apparent past midday, as mixed in with the unclothed rats are rats in what appear to be tiny cosplay outfits from far too many different manga, anime, and video games to count. The number of cosplay rats seems to be increasing every hour at least.
The source of the rats in cosplay can be found in the lobby. Tsumugi has set up her Rent-a-Manga stand from last week again, but is off to the side of it and focused on the rats. There are a multitude of carefully crafted tiny rat sized cosplay outfits layed out around Tsumugi. She's currently cooing to and putting the finishing touches on Ratusne Miku. There's at least a few different versions of Hatsune Miku out there already, but all different costumes/skins. This appears to be the OG one though.]
cccccosplay
[ She can't help but ask, eyeing the cosplay rather curiously. ]

[Tsumugi is just adjusting the skirt on the rat right now. Otherwise, it's pretty much done.]
It's a nice challenge too. Miku has so many versions of her... it's plain fun to carefully recreate each one!
[This is honestly less serious than her usual cosplay endeavors... but this is actually really relaxing in a way?]

[ who has the better English voicebank tbh ]
no subject
[Tsumugi has been hard at work.]
I've only done the most well known ones though... I haven't gotten around to ones like Oliver, Fukase, VFlower, or the other less recognizable ones...

[ Does she have cosplaying abilities that make her do fast cosplay. Is this what's happening here. ]
Implied NDRV3 Spoilers
Well, I am the Ultimate Cosplayer... but, I had a little help this time. I never would have guessed that Gerome-kun knew how to sew.

Rats
[As if Tsumugi has been chasing some rats around, grabbing them and then taking measurements with a short ruler. She's already going insane, he figures]
no subject
[The rats actually seem to be enjoying this. They're better at staying still than some cosplayers she's dealt with in the past.]
no subject
[Iwai, just look at them and you'll see they like it]

[Tsumugi finishes up adjusting Ratsune Miku's costume. As soon as Ratusne skitters off, another rat takes their place. Said rat is now getting dressed up as Ranma.... Ratma.]
See?

[Looks like this is giving Iwai an idea]

otaku room \o/
Look, obviously. Peering into her room and walking in like it isn't weird. ] Are you mending something?
no subject
Oh, except for the edge of a nsfw Archer Dakimakura peeking out from under her bed. That's pretty odd.
Tsumugi bolts from her workspace, past her computer, past the shelves chock full of manga, and past the shelves full far too many figurines and memorabilia to count, to stand in front of the Archer dakimakura to nudge it with the back of her foot under the bed to where the rest of it's kind are hidden. ]
A-aaaaah...! Umm...! I was... sewing a Ciel Phantomhive maid outfit. Yeah.
[.... Yeah he probably saw that. Still. She's not commenting on it if he won't.]
no subject
For the longest time, he doesn't say anything. He just stands as still as can be in place staring in her direction. He has utterly no idea how to process somebody trying so hard to hide something like this. Or somebody having it in the first place. ]
... I don't know what that is.
[ He means a Ciel Phantomhive maid outfit but, honestly? This is real vague. She can take it to mean either the dakimakura or the outfit. ]
no subject
Oooooh boy. This one... based on his looks, he's from pretty far back. How to explain this... After a few moments thought, Tsumugi starts explaining.]
... It's an replica of a character in a story's outfit. The character is Ciel Phantomhive and the outfit is a maid outfit.
[What dakimakura? There has never been a dakimakura here. We are not acknowledging the dakimakura.]
no subject
Sorry, dakimakuras. He doesn't know what you are either but he sure doesn't know if he's ready for a talk about you. ]
I see. Are you making a doll based on the character, then? [ He sounds intrigued by this idea, actually. ]
no subject
I could if I wanted to... but not this time. No, I'm making the things necessary to become that character. To bring the fictional into reality... that's what cosplay is about!
[A pause. She should probably clarify.]
Um... not literally of course. It's more... in a roleplay sense.

rats
What if one bites you?
[He's a bit concerned??]
no subject
[The rat she's currently dressing as snow hatsune miku seems perfectly content with it's circumstance. There's practically a line for the rats to get dressed.]
They've been sweeties so far, I think it'd be plain my fault if I got bit 'cuz I made them uncomfortable.
no subject
[Points to Miku Ratsune.]
What are you dressing them up as, by the way?
no subject
[Said with the air of someone expecting you to know what they are talking about.]
no subject
[He's a 38 year old man from 1982, Tsumugi.
He doesn't... really... get it?]
no subject
[A nervous adjustment of her glasses.]
Hatsune Miku is the most iconic Vocaloid.
