WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[Snake notices all too late Archimedes’ arrival, and is all too late in reacting.]

Archimedes, no!

[The bird has gone, and Snake can’t blame him. It’s like if someone had tried to feed him Big Boss’s charred remains. Cooking him was difficult enough.

If Archimedes wants to come back some day for revenge, he would accept that. He understands.]

[Don't worry too much, Snake. Archimedes will spend some time sulking up in the tree, but whenever Snake decides to go back inside, Archimedes will fly back down to land on his shoulder.

Snake will get a hard peck to the ear, but otherwise Archimedes seems to have gotten over his brief temper tantrum over consuming his own dad.

Just remember- this incident hasn't been forgotten. Merely accepted as an honest mistake to make.]

[That was remarkably quick.

Snake grunts at the pecking, but accepts his punishment. Whilst Archimedes is here, he might as well clear the air as best he can, breaking the silence with a grumble.]

...Sorry. Thought you two would’ve been on the same page on that.

[Unless Medic wouldn’t want to be eaten by birds???]

[Archimedes ruffles his feathers and coos. It'd be nice if Snake had Medic around to translate, but the ghost is off doing other things, it seems.

He seems to understand, though. After a brief pause, he preens at a few stray hairs by Snake's ear.]

[Thanks, Archimedes. He raises a tentative finger in offering of a stroke.]

Think he would've liked it?

[Birds bob their heads a lot, so the little nod Archimedes gives could be easily miscontrued as just a normal bird movement.

Archimedes, however, isn't a particularly normal bird.]
