Week 2 Mingle

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.
The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.
Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

Just. Stops.]
Medic?

Do you like his new children.]

Where'd you find them?

Medic scribbles something down on his sticky note:
"I asked the staff for them! They seem nonanomalous, don't worry."
[One hops off Medic's arm and wanders across the table to Snake, her feet tapping as she walks. Hi.]

[Snake offers a hand out to the bird much like one would do with a dog. He's been taking care of Archimedes for these past few days and he still doesn't know how to actually take care of birds. That guy's pretty self-sufficient.]
Think they'll give me dogs?
[They have one puppy, but...fifty huskies....]

[Archimedes likes his new not-dad because not-dad doesn't tell him to stop eating meat. Archimedes has eaten so much turkey bacon lately.]

Might be good to have something with tracking skills.
[...]
Can you train birds for that?

Can they follow scents?
[How do pigeons work, exactly.]
no subject
Well! There's been some studies into whether or not they track their way home via sense of smell, as they get disoriented if their sense of smell is impaired and are more likely to get lost. (Other studies suggest that their homing instinct involves electromagnetism, which is also possible, but the sense of smell still stands as something important for them with regards to tracking!)
I've tried asking Archimedes about it, but he says it's a "trade secret".

Say, doc, you've got enough birds here. Couldn't you test it out yourself?

I don’t know about the other things, but you still have me, Medic. Just tell me what to do.
no subject
unfortunately I think I'll wait until we're not trapped in a murder prison
[And also this is a topic with literlly no clear scientific consensus one way or the other]
no subject
How do you plan on getting out?
[Considering the whole.
Ghost.
Thing.]

Once you find a way out, then presumably, I will be free from this place as well.

Besides, the devil still owes me 50 years. Once we're free of here, I may get my body back. Maybe.
no subject
The Devil?
no subject
yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyes
did i not tell you that little detail yet
no subject
No. Care to explain?
no subject

maybe in hell not long before i woke up here
but it's not as bad as it sounds
no subject
What kind of hell?
