WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[Cynthia's been a little... well... off for the past few days, but encountering A PUPPY!!!! seems to have lifted her spirits a bit. So, she's taking the opportunity to head out to the ski area to frolic a bit with her very tiny pegasus, Deirdre! Said pegasus is admittedly more of a war horse, but she seems to be enjoying snuffling around in the snow and kicking it about. So they're having Fun, at least, which is important in these trying times.

If Cynthia sees you, she'll wave!]

Hey, wanna do something fun? I'm up for snow sculpture and sledding, unless you have other ideas!

[Later, she'll... kind of head to her room, but she's mostly just doing a little decorating. She's got her door wide open, and there's a bright, eye-catching sign on the door that says OPEN DOOR POLICY--COME ON IN!!

Finally, after some time socializing, she's gonna head up to the chapel and see if there's anything Special there. She's open to conversation, but she's mostly just poking around.]

Sledding? I don't think I've ever done anything like that before.

[ So this place has been entirely a baby's first snow type of deal, just because he hasn't really been to a snowy place physically yet. And so...sledding and fun-type snow activities? What are those??

Those blue eyes of his are definitely looking expectantly at her too, so it looks like it's up to her to teach him a new fun thing! ]

Oh, you haven't? It's so fun, though!

Well, better late than never! Let me see where we get the sleds.

[ Well, he's ready to follow. ]

It is? How does it work?

It's pretty easy! You've just gotta get your sled to the edge of the slope, sit down, push yourself off, and hang on tight!

[AH, HERE THEY ARE... she's gonna head on over!]

[Snake was kind of planning on ignoring Cynthia's request, because he's the no-fun-allowed guy, but one thing does catch his attention.]

Sledding, huh?

Yeah, they've got a downhill course for it and everything! I don't really know how to ski, but I'm pretty much a pro at sledding.

A pro, huh? Been in any sled races?

Well, yeah! My friends and I did it a few times, and I even won a few times!

[ It's nice to see Cynthia's mood improving. He, of course, doesn't approach—but he does watch her from afar with a small smile. ]

[It takes her a little bit to notice Gerome as she's just frolicking around, but... after she does pick out the dark knight among all the white snow, she eventually starts waving at Gerome.]

Heeeey, Gerome! Wanna do something?

[ Someone's looking, time to stop smiling. And, okay, yeah, he really does not at all blend into this environment. Accursed snow, ruining his flawless plan to observe but not interact. ]

Are you sure? I was thinking of mmmmaybe building a life sized version of Minerva, but I wanted your help since you know her best...

What were you thinking of making?

Well, I figure limiting ourselves to just snowmen won't let our creativity flow, you know? Why not make snow castles, too? Or snow dragons or whatever?

...I mean, I have a lot of ideas, but it's always more fun with a friend!

[ There's... maybe a faint hint of displeasure at the mention of a castle, but only for a split second. ]

A dragon could be nice...

Or maybe an octopus?

I don't think I've ever really seen an octopus that closely... those are those weird sea creatures, right? Can you make them look really cool?

Well, I mean, I'm gonna close up while I sleep and maybe on Thursday, but for most of the week, why not?

Yeah, sure! Crash anywhere you like! I recommend the unicorn couch.

[It's partially out of figuring Cynthia must be done by now, and partially out of curiosity as to what Cynthia's room looks like that leads Tsumugi to making this delivery stop.]

I'm really excited to know what happens in the next volume of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure! What's gonna happen now that Dio's rejected his humanity!?
