WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[The little black piglet crawls out of a bucket in the hallway, and huffs angrily at a Slippery When Wet Sign before nosing a pile of soaking wet clothes. At the sound of what it thought was footsteps, it's ears perked up and started to scramble away, only to slip and slide across the floor, crashing into the far wall]

Bwee-e-e-e-e!

[For the rest of the day, the pig could be seen wandering in the Lobby, Apparel Shop, and even the Courtyard, seeming to be looking for something, gingerly keeping it's weight off it's left hindleg]

[ ... Well. Watching a pig limping around is not one of the things he expected to see when outside. For once, he doesn't really hesitate when approaching. He is slow though, his footsteps are less cautious and more along the lines of not trying to scare it off. ]

[At the crunch of snow, the pig stops and starts to turn it's head around, before pivoting, crouching low but not quite ready to run off yet]

[ Ah. A good sign.

He stops and kneels down on one knee. What if he tries holding out his hand? ]

[The piglet sighs, snout twitching before carefully approaching the hand before sitting down in front of Gerome almost expectantly]

[ Hopefully he isn't expecting food. Sorry, Gerome only keeps treats suitable for Minerva with him. The pig does get some pettings though! Which Gerome is very practiced at. ]

[ Oh, hello, pig... ]

Good afternoon. Are you shopping for something?

[With a surprise snort, the pig wiggles it's way out from a basket, looking at Anthy then at his hooves, then back up to her as if it understood the question to be somewhat incredulous, before shaking it's head.]

Well, just browsing is fine too.

[ Hey, you came into the store, don't judge her for assuming you're shopping. ]

I saw you in the lobby the other day, didn't I?

[ For like, half a second. ]

[He sits, tilting his head]

[The ears perked up, and the porcine browser made a motion almost like a nod]

I see. I'm glad I finally get to meet you.

[ Crouches down and holds out her hand in case he's up for an introductory handshake! ]

[ She's just going to stare at the pig wandering around and uh. . . ]

[ She is noticing how the pig is trying to specifically keep its weight off his left leg and.

[The pig starts, his head turning quickly before noticing her, sitting very still in surprise]

[ She squats down a little, trying to wear an apologetic grin. ]

Don't worry, I don't bite. And I'm not going to hurt you. But if you need help, I guess... I can try helping?

[The pig glances to the side, ears pressing back before gingerly stepping forward]

[This is just a day for random animals to be popping out of nowhere, isn't it? He'll try to approach from behind while keeping his footsteps quiet and light, just observing for now. It's hard to miss the obvious limp too, which makes him pause as he watches its movements, before he blinks and crouches down some distance away.]

[The pig turns his head, cocking it at Rean's direction]

[Well, it's not running off, so that's probably a good sign. He glances over at the surroundings, searching for anyone else's presence before he turns back to the pig.]

I guess you don't have an owner around here that's looking for you, huh.

[ ITS THE PIG ]

Eeeee! There you are!

[ Let's go run at the pig ]

[Oh - crap. The pig tries to scramble - but forgot, again the floor is wet and started to slide, bouncing once, twice and somehow ends up on his back before landing right back into the bucket]

Running + water = sliding Cinque and she'll stop herself by landing on her butt! ]

[ winding up next to the bucket. S'up Piggy. Let's pick up the bucket. ]

I was wondering where you went!

[With a sputter, the pig pops his head out of what water had remained, spurting a small fountain from his mouth, using the front legs, before trying to shake the water out of his ears as they slumped]

[well, after she comes in from the cold of the ski area to warm up a little bit in the lobby, she sees... a little piggy wandering around?]

Oh, wow, it's just cute animal day, isn't it! Hi, little guy!

[...and then she notices the pig is limping a little...]
