WEEK 2

With the nature of this 'game' out, the resort might not look so welcoming anymore. The staff are still ready to jump in and serve guests in any way they can, provided a request doesn't make them short-circuit, and the resort itself seems as warm and cheery as usual. But everyone knows the truth now. This resort is hiding some pretty big secrets, and it's only a matter of time before someone else turns up dead.

The weather is holding steady, at 'cold but still safe for outdoor activities'. The temperature seems to be dipping lower each day, though, and the previously-blue sky is starting to stay grey more often than not. Could that signal an approaching snowstorm? Who know. There is still music playing in the halls, and the cover songs continue with some low-key music for the week.

On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone. Another piece to the puzzle, one step closer to finding the truth of this place. But it might not be enough to put everything together yet, that might take some more time.

Most importantly, everyone needs to get to know each other. This 'game' is one of 'know your enemies', and your very survival depends on knowing when someone is acting odd.

[At first the pig steps back, as if uncertain, glancing back before giving a small, hesitant nod]

Buu...

My thanks. I'll need to pick you up but worry not. When I'm through, I'll put you back down. [ Okay, very gently picking up the pig, supporting him, and looking at his leg! What's the damage here? ]

[The pig doesn't resist picking up, but does winch as pressure is put on the leg - there's nothing that feels broken or out of place, and he can fully extend it - so it seems it's just sore and the muscles a little swollen]

Oooiin....

... Was that painful? I'm sorry, it seems even my best attempts at being gentle fall short. [ No real surprise to him though. He knows he's rough, and he does sound genuinely apologetic. Carefully setting the pig back down. ]

But there's good news. The damage doesn't seem severe, which must be why you're out here trying to walk on it. Were you hoping to ice your injury?

[As if to assure Gerome, the pig shook his head rather quickly when asked if it had hurt... but he looked around in utter confusion, as if he was only just aware of where he was]

Oink?

[ He briefly smiles at the headshaking. What a nice pig, he should give it a nickname. Except, uh, that looking around is worrying. Are you okay, little pig? ]

You didn't know? Perhaps the cold is at fault. [ He's so cold he's having memory issues. Or something. ] Should I take you inside?
