Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

I-I don't know if they're naked or not, but.... They are exploring the rest of site 4 while the rest of us are confined to the house. They've found some interesting things.

Reyes and others who were here before the game are locked up on a lower level of the site.

Not all of them. Either some of them are being held elsewhere, or... they don't know, yet.

....He mentioned he couldn't find 'Shun'.

[His brows furrow. He didn't know the name, but Goro seemed to indicate it was someone important to Saki.]

Saki-san, just because they can't find him doesn't mean they won't. They might not have been able to keep everyone in the same place.

[Sorry Atsushi, but she definitely looks like she's starting to panic, one hand pressed up against her mouth so she doesn't scream.

He can't have been lost again. He can't, he can't, he can't, she just found him--]

Saki-san, Saki--

[Nope, nope, oh no, he didn't think this would be her reaction--

He reaches over, immediately wrapping his arms around her.]

They don't know anything yet. they're still looking, okay?

[She clings to him in turn, but this is still on camera and might look odd.

Too bad Saki's in no state to think of that right now, because it's taking all that she has to remember to breathe, her body shaking.]

[Atsushi's focus is more on Saki, right now. It's fine, hugs are normal, hugs are Important. They can come up with a story for later to mention in mic hearing range properly.

For now, he turns them both around so his back is covering her from view in the camera, keeping her firmly in his arms.]

[She'll remain like that, fighting to get her breaths under control, to hide the tears in her eyes. Sometimes it feels like she'll never be able to move on, because her memories are stolen away from her, because she sees him for fleeting moments only for him to be snatched away again--

It takes time. But eventually the shake of her shoulders steadies, eventually the sobs stop. And then, abruptly, she ducks out of his grip and dunks herself into the water, pushing herself away to swim to the other side.]

Bet you were totally talking to a naked ghost or something.

[At least he’s distracted from this unfortunate line of thought by everything else.]

... Hmph, I was wonderin’ what the hell they were all doing out there but they’re in here?? Figures. Are they the hands in the basement or something.

I don't know. But also Nora, Goro specifically said not to make them explode, because it might wind up being troublesome. So don't go harassing the prinnies anymore, okay?

I'M NOT GOING TO MAKE THEM EXPLODE!!

[This seems to be, oops, a bit of a sore spot?? Maybe?? Nora just growls at him for a moment and then crosses his arms and splashes him in the process.]

And I'm only goin' to harass them SOME, I'm not going to stop! It'd look weird!

[And also he doesn't want to stop hanging out with Prinnies leave him alone.]

Just don't make them explode, alright?

I literally just said I wouldn't, did gettin' dunked screw up your hearing too or something??

[Should he dunk Atsushi again. Or should he just give him a grumpy shove. Definitely a shove that hopefully makes him drink water, take that.]

I really don't want to think about Goro walking around naked pulling pranks on me, either.

[Said with a hint of pink in his cheeks.]

. . .you said you met him as a cat, right? Do you think we can do that again? We need a way to communicate with them and doing that seems to be the easiest. Although it might be hard if you don't know Morse.

Or if the other side doesn't.

They also want a more reliable way to communicate with us. Preferably one that doesn't involve interpretative conversation with a feline. They mentioned morse code as an option, actually, but I needed to speak to you all about it.

I can teach you. Morse code, that is. I learned it in order to communicate with the ghosts before and it became my main source of communication when I died.

I'd be happy to learn. Especially if it's going to help us, in this case.
