Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

This whole plan is stupid for one. And two, it means hiding out some where in the house without being seen. Cameras and mics change every week and the stairs where Otete hang out aren't safe. Leaving isn't safe either.

We aren't killing anyone. Even setting aside the morals of it, if they find out we killed someone on purpose, we're all as good as dead.

I'm pretty well equipped to defend myself, too.

It's still risky. If you guys really want to show he's mean, ask him to just shoot you in the arm as a warning or something else.

[Akira pointedly points at the scar on his neck where a fortune cookie tried to kill him yesterday.]

We have healers. Plus Nora tries to fight anything that moves. A little violence might not be that convincing a show of meanness.

Even if it's temporary, bullet wounds still hurt.

Coming from Mr. "Pain Makes Me Strong" that's not a very impressive argument, Van.

Honestly... even if it's risky, having someone off the grid could be really useful for us...

They already have people off the grid sneaking around.

Besides, you're more useful here with the others.

Dead people and there's a pretty good chance the dead and the living are under different sets of limitations.

[Akira will not be beeped. He is the obstacle that never yields. He's going to try to steal your floatie, Vanitas.]

In what way am I more useful here than gathering information?

Not just dead people. He has friends who are part of the op.

Considering how bad he is at his part of the op, you'll excuse me if I'm not entirely reassured.

If him beating people is "in character" that may not be a bad idea. If we set it up I have ways to block pain.

I-It is, unfortunately. How he trained Akutagawa wasn't... kind. He's a much less violent person at 22 than he was at 18.
