Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

Hell no! There's too many people here that like you, Inaba. Planned or not, you think they could deal with you being gone? I mean, look at everybody who jumped to save you that time.

She wouldn't be gone, though. We know GG is taking care of those who have lost their lives.

It's still different from having the people you love right here!

[There's something really pained in his voice at that.]

I know... It's not an easy choice to make. But I can see why it would help, you know? He has to be the bad guy.

It's all the stupid Foundation's fault... you can tell it's hurting him as much as us.

[iblistriggered]

I hope we can help him, too... He may not be one of "us", but he's trying so hard for our sakes.

[dereban]

I know.

I don't really want to die, either, you know?

[eldritcheyes]

I don't think any of us want to! And it's not just the ones here you've gotta worry about, don't you have people watching? How do you think they'd feel?

[dereban]

[ a rather lengthy pause. ]

I don't want to break his heart again.

[eldritcheyes]

....

[He lowers his voice, just loud enough for her to hear, and there's a deep sadness in his tone.]

If the girl I cherished was still alive, I wouldn't want her to see anything happen to me, either.

[dereban]

[ oh.

that's sad but she doesn't say anything, just... looks a little forlorn. ]
