Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Atsushi's clinging to a random pool floatie, looking a little down.]

I probably should have refused that sleepover offer, huh...?

[He'd been excited and relieved, because if the Foundation really wanted there was nothing stopping them from doing whatever they liked to make the tiger happen. And that would have tanked the public opinion of them all, showing a real monster attacking people.]

...I've been trying to keep to the act that he's 'Dazai'. No one will believe his cover if I start reacting to him badly in view of cameras, I think. But he's been too kind on Camera... I'm not sure how to help fix that.

Something like that, maybe? He'd have to do something really terrible to make that happen.

Like what, though...? I can't deny that Dazai-san is manipulative, and he certainly was cruel during his time in the Mafia. But how do we make that apparent in public?

[He frowns a little, considering.]

He'd have to kill someone, most likely.

Or someone argues loudly with Atsushi about it.

It'd have to be someone who isn't close to Atsushi, then, if we're going to argue about it.

[First thought: Fitedog.]

[ A look over to Oda ]

How about Mr. Average over there?

Ah... he doesn't like Dazai-san at all, so that could work.

[A frown, before--]

...We could make it violent, if need be. I'm certainly capable of taking the hits.

[darkremnants]

Don't make it violent. Our Host might have execute you both if you do.

I'm not talking attempted murder. I'm talking about him punching me or something, that's all.

[darkremnants]

[ He did tell him to think of other options before.

Honestly, he's split on how he feels about this. So he'll breathe out loudly before he continues kicking to nyoom the floatie around the pool. ]

The sleepover wasn't the issue. Like you said, it's his reaction.

[ It is hard cause Atsushi is loyal to Dozai but Doezai likes making people happy. ]

You can fix that by asking less of him.

I didn't even really ask that of him, the sleepover. Originally the plan was to simply contain the tiger quietly in his office.

[He bites his lip, considering. What could he have done differently...?]

You could have not shared the plan in public. Or you could have picked any of the alternatives people came up with.

[ That whole tiger meeting was right there in front of everyone's salads. His tone is nonchalant as he talks at least. ]

Its too late to change it, but something to keep in mind. All eyes are already on him thanks to him being the host.

[Atsushi droops a bit.]

...Sorry.

[Not that it changes anything, but...]

Is there anything at all I can do to improve things, then?
