Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

Blue, huh.

[ same as the team. ] We were in the house prior to the game start proper to the House could have changed our soul colors then-- but then there's a few questions that arise for me.

The meaning of the colors. And... it makes me wonder what color our Host is, if anything.

Trust me, the next time he shows up, I'm definitely looking at him. Even if he notices me using the Eyes, too bad. It's not breaking any rules.

I'll try talking to him about some stuff, too. I already promised him a few things, so he seems to trust me, at least.

Yeah, I don't want anything to happen to him, but we need answers.

Yeah.

I don't know if those answers will help us in the long run, but. . .they'll help us understand our situation a little bit more.

I got something yesterday from one of the cookies, too. It says I can ask any one question and get an answer. But I don't want to waste it, and I know I'm not the smartest guy here. So we should talk about it together.

[dereban]

. . . I'm worried that semantics might in be in play there.

'get an answer' is so vague. it's not even 'get a truthful answer'.

Definitely but it's worth a try.

[Akira leans back a little, tugging at his hair.]

One option is asking about red. I tried poking Dazai about it way back at Truth or Dare but the answer he gave me was so obviously bullshit. Which probably means it's important.

[dereban]

He probably didn't want to talk about it in public.

[ in front of cameras. ]

There's definitely a deeper meaning behind the fact that there isn't any 'red' in the teams, but that might mean it applies to souls, too.

In color theory, red is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination-- as well as passion, desire and love.

[eldritcheyes]

All the more reason for me to get a look at him with the Eyes. Maybe he's the missing red. I mean, we basically have two shades of blue but no red? It's definitely weird.

Yeah.

And if he's not. . . I'll talk to him about it.

He might. Just ask him to check out the garage with you because you're concerned about chemicals or something.

Good idea. The garage is definitely clear, then?
