Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Atsushi's still stuck as a cat for several hours yet-- it's because of that he's at a very good angle while walking across the deck to see Inaba's expression right now, and in a good form to smell the salt of her tears when he gets closer.

He can't comfort her like a human would while stuck like this, but he can patter up to her, rubbing himself up against one of her hands with a 'mrrt'.]

[ this is admittedly kind of cute and she wonders if he was actually worried about her. ]

You don't have to be so worried. I'm not sad.

[The way his tail twitches slowly behind him, the oddly blank expression on his kitty face-- both of those seem to say 'doubt' right now.

Instead he nudges her hand once more before leaping lightly into her lap. He's small, but he's very soft and warm.]

Honestly, you really should learn some morse code if they're going to turn you into a cat like this ever again.

[ there's a bit of a frown, especially after seeing the doubt in his expression. ]

But I'm really fine! Geez. [ thankfully they're in the pool, which means that there's only cameras but no audio. but he is getting some pets, sniffling a little. ] I was just crying a little because while I'm scared-- I'm so lucky. I took three of the cookies and I managed to get through it unscathed. What did I do to deserve to be this lucky?
