Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

[Empty prinnies...! Welp.

He's going to hopefully assume this is a deliberate choice and the souls haven't just poofed somewhere. He'll inspect one of the more familiar, unique costumes, maybe the red and black one if it's there, while making a show of sniffing and batting at them like a cat would. He's trying to see if there's anything different about them.]

[As Atsushi is sniffing it, the prinny costume sort of...lifts up? Like, it's not full like it would be if a soul were in it. It's all flat and stuff.

And now it's dancing around in front of him in a rather ridiculous manner.]

[You know that startled jumpy thing cats do when surprised???

Atsushi is totally doing that right now.]

[The prinny body is shaking a little bit, like whatever is holding it just doubled over with laughter.]

[Wow, rude?!

Catsushi fluffs up comically, as any indignant cat would do!

But if it's moving... is someone moving it? Hm.

Gonna paw at the prinny body more.]

[ As he does that, the suit begins to move in a way that implies it's being put on.

In the next moment, there's a black and red prinny standing there. ]

Sorry, sorry... [ There's a quiet sound of prinny laughter! ] Didn't mean to scare you, Shi-chan!

[Okay, it is now a prinny and less a prinny suit. This is... Probably fine.

Oh. Oh. It's....

He called him 'Shi-chan', so--]

[Okay, so he's a bit pissed at the prank, but that isn't stopping him from leaping at the prinny to snuggle up against it.

Hi, Akechi. He'll claw at you in a second for freaking him out but he's missed you.]

[ Alas, prinny faces can't emote very well. But there is a quiet, happy sound slipping out. ]

So, you can understand, when you're like this. I'm glad.

[ There's a brief pause. ]

Hmm... How does lifting left paw for 'yes' and right paw for 'no' sound? We can make it your left and right, to keep it simple.

[He can indeed!!! He digs his claws into the prinny suit for a second before backing up, nodding his little feline head and raising his left paw for 'Yes'.]

[ This prinny is gonna reach to try petting cat for a moment, first!!! Good catte. ]

All right... I guess I should start by letting you know that everyone made it to this side okay. Pretty much everyone is working together to explore things on our end.

[He can certainly pet him! He'll even get a quiet purr in response to the petting, catsushi gently nuzzling his head against the flapflapper.

Yes, a purr. He's apparently capable of that in this form, wonder of wonders.]

[He seems pleased by that news, too. They'd known there was some sort of safety net in place, but hearing it directly from 'this side' was a good confirmation to have.]

[ TOO CUTE, it's kind of unfair. But now for some less-good stuff... ]

Reyes is locked up on a lower level of the site... along with- a lot of the others who were there in the beginning, but weren't picked.

[ It might be clear he's holding something back. ]

The one known as 'Mission Control' has taken over with his men.

[ More hesitation... ]

Some of us... think... more people people should die, in order to keep it so the fake Dazai seems genuine.

[Atsushi tilts his head slightly. Reyes...? So he never left the site to begin with? And others too, apparently. He pats at him with his paw, as if to ask for more info.

That was... hm.

Mission Control though...?]

[....Ah. He supposes that it would probably help keep 'Dazai''s image intact, if more were to die.]

[Somewhere between the start of Akechi's conversation with Catsushi and their current point in time, another prinny suit seems to have animated.]

And tell the others not to make any of us explode. It'd be troublesome.

[Non sequitur? What non equitur?]

[Oh hello, what color prinny is this one?

Though Atsushi’s also giving a bug eyed kitty stare at the mention of explosions and raising his left paw repetitively.

He’d definitely tell Nora, don’t worry.]

[ Hello, friend. ]

When... we went to explore Site 4, we couldn't find everyone who'd been involved in the early stages. So... either some were killed, or some aren't being kept with the others.

[ There's a pause. ]

I... wish I could say that Shun is safe, because that's someone important to Saki - but, he was nowhere to be found.

[ PRINNY DOESN'T SOUND HAPPY TO FINALLY ADMIT THIS. ]

[scarsnstripes]

[Oh....

Oh.

That's... Oh. His little kitty ears droop a bit at that. Someone important to Saki-san was missing....?]

[The brown prinny with a yellow beak turns to the other one. Tone's pretty hard to tell given the whole soul in a suit thing but it sounds like it's judging??]

Don't jump to conclusions. We just didn't see them there. That's all.

[Oh!

His ears perk back up, his head tilting slightly in a questioning manner as he raises his left paw again for 'Yes!'.]

[The brown prinny continues.]

We'll keep an eye on the situation in Site 4. We'll contact you if anything changes, but in order to do that, we should establish a method of communicating that doesn't simply involve us speaking to a house cat.

[scarsnstripes]

[Listen, he's trying his best! But he does give a little kitty nod.

He'll see what the others have to say about it. He can't just decide the method himself, after all, unless team prinny has it's own ideas.

But for now... he'll just wave his left paw again in a 'yes' motion.]

[ Looking to other prinny... and its tone might sound kind of apologetic, thanks to earlier. ]
