Week 4

It finally happened. Someone murdered, and was punished for it. After a particularly grueling trial, one much worse than the games ever were, everyone definitely needed the rest of the weekend to rest up. But now it is Monday once more, and that means it is time to get back to 'work'.

The cameras have moved again, and the contestants will need to be careful where they say what until their new locations have been revealed. In addition to that, the house itself seems to have changed, with its usual colorful appearance suddenly a bit more grey. Even the weather seems to be gloomy, with those storm clouds from last week starting to overcast the area, threatening to drop rain.

Seventeen contestants remain in this game of death. How many more will fall before the game is over? And how many more will be driven to murder?

...What I mostly remember about it are the trees. Every year, they would have a big harvest of Num-Num Nuts and the entire village would be filled with their sweet scent. It always smelled wonderful that time of year.

[...Yes, that's what she focuses on.]

[Honestly, though? Relatable.]

Did you ever have harvest festivals?

I think we had one, but I don't really remember it well. I only got to participate in it once before I got moved to Shelgard.

...Ah, Shelgard's the biggest city in my world. It's actually run by the Church, though it's actually made up of six different cities that are each run by one of the six branches of the Church. Since I was brought in as an Inquisitor for the Gracia Church, I lived in the section of Shelgard run by them.

The Church, huh...

[She's just kinda equating that to the Temple of Purity at this point.]

What was the city like?

Well, it's nothing compared to some of the cities in this world, but during the busy times of the day, you could look out a window and see nothing but people and buildings as large as towers as far as the eye could see. Items from all across the world would gather in places, and tens to hundreds of people might be there at the same time to get things from them. At night, the buildings would light up like stars and create a completely different kind of scenery from what it was during the day.

I see...

That sounds really beautiful.

[And she means it! Even if it's a little hard for her to imagine, just because of the sheer scope of it. But it sounds like she'd like to.]

Once all this is over, we should go visit one, yeah. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, though.
allmyfriendsaredead: ([Smile] You know)

I think everything in this world was overwhelming for me at one point or another.

[What's one more.]
