Week 3 Mingle

The last week has brought the first spilled blood. Three of the contestants are gone, with the promise of more to fall soon. The atmosphere around the house will start to get heavy around Wednesday, which is when the first game of the week is. It's almost like the house knows something is up...

The conspiracy is beginning to unravel. Dazai isn't Dazai, and the cracks are forming in his act. But that act must be held up, or the Foundation will be brought in to take control of the game. Now everyone must play the part and act like everything is normal, at least on camera. That stress of always performing is bound to make someone crack eventually.

Once again, the cameras and microphones change. The contestants will have to search out new spots for their secret conversations. Even one wrong step, one wrong word, and it's all over for this group. Everyone is watching, and they need to play their roles.

They better keep an eye out too, because storm clouds are starting to loom over the area, both figuratively and literally.

Oh, merely that he could cripple me whenever he wishes, or potentially make my body misfire at an inopportune time...or, perhaps, force me to murder on thursday.

Whatever he feels like doing, I suppose. And I know for a fact that the man is vindictive.

[ His tone is flat there. ]

Mm. Well, though I hope it'll merely focus only on me, it is something you all should be aware of, for your safety.

[darkremnants]

Depends. [ On how much of a bitch Mayuri is and also... ] Does he share his toys with the higher-ups?

[hatesdeerstalkers]

That man? Only as much as he has to. From our conversations, he's the type who's happy to experiment and share only if it's fully appreciated by the ones in power. And some of the things he's doing....

[He stops, and then blinks.]

...Ah. He must have completed wiped that part - my apologies.

[darkremnants]

[ It might be best they don't know what else he's up to. Also that... doesn't really reassure him at all. ]

So how likely do you think he'd share you and let them use you as a kill switch?

[ Especially if he's being a vindictive binch clown ]

...It is likely, at the very least. He is a very vindictive man.

[darkremnants]

More so if he pays attention to your attachments.

[ And if he doesn't, than the Foundation does. ]

Does our Host know?

I haven't quite told the man yet - he's had much more on his mind this week.

[darkremnants]

[ ... ]

[ He makes it sound like he has no idea, but considering some of what he said already in this meeting... ]

Great. I knew it, we're just fucked in thirty different directions here.

[Did he know it. He just sounds extra out-of-sorts about all of it.]

Too bad there's enough of us to deal with one annoying old man. I ain't going to bother with mercy if you mess with us.

[Well, for one, judging by past spars mercy would be a bad idea in that case but is he acknowledging that, no.]

Nor would I expect any mercy, should the worst come to pass.

[He's completely serious, not flinching from the thought.]

Out of all of everyone, I am expecting you to take me down if it comes to it.

Hmph. At least you're finally comin' clean about stuff.

[Nora he literally had amnesia--]

At least you'd be a challenge, that's probably why you got your deal with the stupid clown in the first place. That an' you're ALMOST as shady.

[He probably has never met Mayuri face to face but the miasma of his shadiness spreads.]

I'll take 'shady' as a compliment - though I would like to say that I am just as shady, if not more!

[He proclaims it proudly, a flicker of his old self before wednesday coming to the surface.]

Yeah, well, it ISN'T.

[All things considered, you really only have to look at the people Nora interacts with on a regular enough basis to figure out that it's not that simple. But like hell he's acknowledging that. Self-awareness is overrated entirely.]

I'll believe it when I see it!

[As of the moment Moriarty is an interestingly complicated opponent but other than that. Clownfucker's still got the upper hand.]
