Week 3 Mingle

The last week has brought the first spilled blood. Three of the contestants are gone, with the promise of more to fall soon. The atmosphere around the house will start to get heavy around Wednesday, which is when the first game of the week is. It's almost like the house knows something is up...

The conspiracy is beginning to unravel. Dazai isn't Dazai, and the cracks are forming in his act. But that act must be held up, or the Foundation will be brought in to take control of the game. Now everyone must play the part and act like everything is normal, at least on camera. That stress of always performing is bound to make someone crack eventually.

Once again, the cameras and microphones change. The contestants will have to search out new spots for their secret conversations. Even one wrong step, one wrong word, and it's all over for this group. Everyone is watching, and they need to play their roles.

They better keep an eye out too, because storm clouds are starting to loom over the area, both figuratively and literally.

It's an unfair trial, but I'm preaching to the choir at this point. I have a guess as to why, but I want to pick your brain a little. . . is there a particular reason why they want to get rid of the 6350s?

[ She wants to see if his answer will match hers. ]

As far as I have heard, it's the rampant insubordination among extremely powerful 6350s. Red broke protocol to save everyone at that camp. Several people from the 'Rescue Reyes and Kurosaki' mission went AWOL. Then there's the whole mess with that one guy and how a bunch of people basically became traitors to help him get free. This kind of thing never happens. Or, well, not on this scale. Sometimes someone will step out of line, but they get shut down fast.

It's scaring the higher-ups. They think that it's only a matter of time before someone snaps and kills everyone. Some of the 6350s certainly have the power to do that.

[...Ellie feels like the Foundation is better off without those people that went missing during the Hotel California mission, though... I mean, have you seen them?]

...in our defense, the clown was about to do something that would cause a lot of problems for essentially everyone, and we didn't have much time to deal with it.

In your defense, you weren't exactly wrong either. But the Foundation isn't reasonable.

Well, I suppose that's their fault for not trying to improve things and pretending that everything would always be the same with their obviously terrible practices of handling everything ever.

[ She sighs, feeling kind of bitter.

She doesn't think it's necessary their fault and that they should have to feel shame over their circumstances. When it comes down to it, she never really wanted to join the Foundation in the first place, and she's honestly tired of following orders herself.

Especially when it winds up with innocents hurt and not being able to do anything about it. ]

Somehow I'm not surprised that they've been handling things just as poorly as usual.

It really is the modus operandi for them. That's why things need to change.
