WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

Maybe you fuckin' should be. [Anybody who can grin like that while holding a broken shovel might not be the best person to argue with. Watch out for that splintered spear you just gave her, Silver.]

[it's an unsettling grin, that's for sure. Which is why Silver holds up his hand, glowing with energy, then closes his fist tightly. Broken shovel handle is now splinters]

I'm not going to fight you, so you might as well just go dig a hole with your bare hands somewhere else.

[She shakes the splinters out of her hand. The chainsaw sound just gets louder.]

Oh, you don't have a fuckin' choice! [There's a flash of glowing darkness as the flashing metal links spin up between her hands like a garotte and she steps forward.]

Hm.

Maybe you should cool off?

[Silver grits his teeth, his eyes and the markings on his gloves glowing brightly, then gestures strongly with one arm.

flings giriko into the pool]

[?!!?!?!??!?!?

That? That isn't going to fucking stand. Giriko drags herself out of the pool (wet tee-shirt contest time, everybody) and races towards Silver (did you know you can use chainsaw blades as weird magical high-speed roller skates because that's what's happening)]

[ooh! That's a neat trick.

Silver, is, however, a total cheese, so he teleports out of the way.

... But his trajectory doesn't quite work as he expected, so Giriko still has an opportunity to grab him!]

[And grab him she does. At least there aren't any blades involved, just some good old-fashioned tackling.

She's shaking with barely-constrained bloodlust, and her engine is running with a horror-movie roar.]

You're real fuckin' lucky I ain't gonna kill anyone this week, rat.

[Shit shit shit. Silver's entire battle plan involves staying at a distance. Pinned, there isn't much he can do -- so he panics. In his panic, he unwittingly unleashes a psychic wave that induces serious vertigo and a debilitating, skull-splitting headache in anyone nearby]

[ About 10 feet away (just inside the house), he's grumbling and making a face??? ]

[That does work, after a moment where it looks like it won't.

Giriko tries to get to her feet and ends up just kind of... rolling off of Silver and onto the ground, trying not to throw up everywhere.]

[As soon as Giriko (and her giant wet boobs) is off of him, Silver zips into the air and lands on the roof. The vertigo field dissipates as quickly as it came on]

Sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't... I didn't mean to...

[Saki was a bit away, so she's not as badly effected, but that sure was a fight going on. With a sound of displeasure, she forces herself over:]

Are you two okay?

Get down here! [Giriko yells, stumbling to her feet. She... kind of looks like an absolute mess, drenched with pool water from head to toe, covered in dirt.

Sorry, Saki, you're not getting an answer quite yet.]

No way! I don't want to fight!

That's enough. We need to be working together, not fighting like this!
