WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

[Something catches.

Giriko feels something internally go wrong, gears catch and grind as she tries to shift to second gear and just gets completely fucked up and she coughs up rust and flecks of metal.

The engine cuts off.]

[Shit.

She goes down, not all the way to the ground but to a knee, dirty fingers clutching the fabric of her shirt over the center of her chest.]

Fuck.

[That aches. It hurts in her body and her weapon form and her soul. This shitty place--- there's some kind of limiter on her gears and it fucking hurts.]

Giriko?!

[Her voice raises in alarm as she hurries to Giriko's side.]

[She recoils from Saki's concern, getting to her feet too quickly to keep herself from stumbling backward. She tastes bloody iron in her mouth, flecks of steel between her teeth.]

Get the fuck away from me. [Giriko spits out. She needs to get out of here.]

[that's a yikes from silver, dawg. But it does get him to float back down to the ground level]

Crap... I'm sorry....! Are you alright?

[he knows better than to get close, though...]

[She steps back, but with a grim look, she'll watch, fully intending to follow - but at a distance.]

[failsaw]

Back. Off. [She shoves past the two of them and heads back inside. She needs a drink, but apparently she can't get one here. She's going to just curl up on the floor of her room instead.]

Now Silver feels v bad. He sheepishly looks at Saki]

... I wish she weren't so stubborn.... but I didn't want her to get hurt.

[If Giriko comes back outside later, she'll find a large pile of dirt next to the trampoline -- it seems like the dirt came from under the trampoline, as there's a nice hole there]
