WEEK 1 MINGLE

As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

MOTIVE

[On Monday at around noon, Dazai will suddenly enter the house. He's as cheerful as always, and he will walk right in like he belongs there.]

Hello everyone! Meet me in the living room in five minutes.

[At least he's giving everyone time to get there? But once everyone is gathered, he will start reading from the clipboard in his hands.]

Let's see here...the higher-ups have decided that this game needs some proper "motivation" to get you guys to act. After all, why would anyone risk hurting someone here when the punishment for getting caught is a swift death? Of course, if it were me making these choices then I would've given you all a week to settle in, but what can I do? Orders are orders.

So anyway, this is the reward this week: kill someone in this house by Friday and get away with it, and the Foundation will kill someone for you. Got that person you hate, but just can't take care of on your own? We'll handle it for you! If it's someone not in this world, that's okay. We can send someone to your world and have them taken out just like that! It could even be me, if you want.

The only conditions are that you can't get caught, and someone dying during a 'game of talent' doesn't count for this even if you caused them to die. Good luck everyone!

GAME TIME

[At 6pm sharp, an invitation is sent out via prinny mail for all of the contestants to join Dazai at the studio. When they arrive, they will find that the set has been completed! It looks something like this, except the 'mountain' is easily a good fifteen feet tall. And somehow, it looks big enough for a person to climb...hmm...]

Do you guys really think that they'd even be able to do that? I bet they don't even know how to send us home normally.

[Said in the most deadpan manner possible. Not just at the motive, but because of course he'd have to toss in that little joke at the end. Of course.]

[Saki is pale at the announcement, but she nods at Inaba's words.]

A motive like that is just... ridiculous.

[Maybe her voice will sound more certain than she really feels.]

It really is! Anyone who kills for this kind of a motive is a fucking coward.

I'm not sure he'd be the one doing the killing if they can do this, but I don't think it's a joke. Whether the foundation can do it is another question entirely.

I don't wanna think about what they can and can't do, it's too big. We don't want them to do it, but they maybe could since they said it... My head hurts.

[Ingway listens quietly at first, but the more Dazai talks the more he starts to laugh to himself. And when the offer is stated outright he bursts into manic cackling]

You're a good two years too late, dear Host! Oh, the irony of it all-would you throw your assassins into the endless sea to kick that man's bones for me?

[he's still laughing when Dazai leaves, but his face is more disgusted than amused]
