As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect

For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.

However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.

Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

[This is probably an obvious question, but things seem so much less so when it comes to Alcor.]

I was not. I have always existed in some sense, since the Earth was created.

But- that would make you over billions of years old-?

I had assumed that was the reason why my age was listed as questions marks on my profile. But yes, at least partially. The time I've spend in this form is considerably less, but still far greater than human lifespans.

-Did you appear this way even before humans had evolved?

Evolved in what sense?

...Into a form similar to how we appear now, I suppose. What we would now refer to as homo sapiens.

In that case, before: homo erectus walked the Earth before homo sapiens.
