WEEK 1 MINGLE
As dawn approaches on Monday, the contestants are greeted to a beautiful, sunny day. It's the first full week of their time in the house, and after the rather troubling introduction on Saturday it's hard to know just what to expect
For the first week, the surrounding area seems quiet and peaceful. The weather stays a nice 75 degrees during the day, and it dips down to the 50s at night. Comfortable, and without any real disturbances from nature or house. It's almost as if the whole weekend was just a bad dream, and maybe the actual game won't be as bad as Dazai made it out to me.
However, those rules and profiles are still hanging in the living room, a constant reminder of the warnings that have been given. What will happen now? There haven't been any deaths at this containment site in years, but will that change with these new rules? Only time will tell.
Perhaps it's a good idea to enjoy this first week. Go swimming, watch a movie, or just hang out together and get to know each other better. You never know, this might be the last time to see some of the contestants.

You... weren't born like most creatures, were you?
[This is probably an obvious question, but things seem so much less so when it comes to Alcor.]
no subject
I was not. I have always existed in some sense, since the Earth was created.
no subject
But- that would make you over billions of years old-?

Evolved in what sense?
no subject
...Into a form similar to how we appear now, I suppose. What we would now refer to as homo sapiens.
no subject
In that case, before: homo erectus walked the Earth before homo sapiens.
no subject
How did you know to take an appearance like that?
no subject
I don't always look like this way, nor have I in the past. Is that a sufficient answer?
no subject
Not really, if I'm being honest.
no subject
[ aka he is not elaborating more on this specific detail right now, but she may have better luck with a different angle. ]

Unless you have a specific reason for wanting to know?
no subject
[Because she... definitely doesn't right now.]
no subject
[ Okay he's not blushing but as far as Alcor facial expressions go it's pretty close. Lot'of flutterin eyelashes and his hand is at his chest in apparent surprise]
no subject
Yes? Why wouldn't I?
no subject
I have watched humans for a very long time. Before you built cities, before you tamed cattle and sowed the earth in the spring for the harvest in the fall. Ever since I gave you the gift that changed everything.
[ Outstretching his palm a small flame flickers to life. ]
no subject
You gave humanity fire?
no subject
Yes. And you did more with it than I ever could have imagined. Perhaps because of your limitless potential, that's why direction action was forbidden. Nothing was the same once you had that one tiny spark.
no subject
But knowing what she does of humanity...]
Do you think it was a good choice?
no subject
no subject
Do you regret it?
[Can he feel regret??]
no subject
[ Like many of his words they're wisps thrown to the wind, but these weigh heavy unlike all the rest. ]
