Four weeks.

By now, waking up to death on Friday was becoming normal.

Gazing at something that should not have occurred...a death of one of them.
A death done by one of them....which could have been done by anyone.
Even by someone who would seem to have no reason to kill...🗈

Such a thing...was draining.
No, it was more than that - it was preying upon their very souls...
But they had no choice.

No matter how they felt, they had to search, to find the body and find the clues that would bring them to the killer themselves in tomorrow's trial.

...What kind of horror will they find today?

What kind of death did one of their number face?

And what sort of horrible, heart-rending truth....will be the end result, at the end of this week...?

[ Let's all herd up. ]

I think whomever did it, cleaned themselves in Koide's- Natsuno's room. There was a bath full of paint water. The empty paint bucket and a paint brush was left there. Natsuno's shoes were also covered in paint on the bottom. I did find some white flower petals, which are weird because he doesn't like white. We did check everyone else's rooms and didn't find anything. What did everyone else find?

There was apparently a knife missing in the kitchen.

Well, we found it. It was found in the basement, just in front of the boiler. It was clean, though there was also a scrap of a bloody handkerchief hanging out of the boiler.

. . . huh. Do you think they were trying to get rid of the knife?

I suppose it's possible, but I can't say either way. If someone wants to check it for fingerprints or whatever, I still have it, at least.

[She'll pull it out so that any detectives can check on it.]

Why leave it in front of the boiler then?

Maybe they were in a hurry. Gebura-san mentioned that there was a bloody handkerchief as well, right?

Not an entire one, just a scrap of it. I assume the scrap was sticking out when they closed the boiler. The rest of the handkerchief is probably ash now.

Oh. [ There's a sheepish realization as he finds himself laughing a little awkwardly. ] It's good that you managed to find even a scrap, though.

Could be the other way around too: why would they wash Natsuno's shoes if they had evidence instead of just burning them? Could be that he got splattered instead and tried to wash them off. Did anyone check to see if any of that blood on HIM was paint?

His footprints were on the ceiling of the library.

But I suspect like everything else in the room - that is staged.

Why take his shoes then? They should have left them on him though.

I'm kinda glad I just walked away. Though between that and the stake you think maybe it was to play up the whole... goth thing?

Erhard was trying to feed him blood... so I think he's probably a vampire.

Gebura found a thing called a stake missing from the Master Bedroom. Real blunt and heavy, those stakes were. She said. I'm suprised Natsuno didn't get whacked with it.

There was nothing else taken or moved in the Master Bedroom. In fact, as far as I can tell, there was nothing else out of place on the second floor at all.
