Regardless, the island is still beautiful, if deadly. Summer continues, beaming down on all of them, the waves of the sea warm and inviting.

But even if things look bleak...

Shouldn't we, you know, also talk about what death's done? Someone got away with killing last week, which is its own problem, but I have a bad feeling about this week.

Does anyone know if the name 'Vinea' is significant in any way?

Yes. Vinea is one of the 72 Demon Pillars summoned by Solomon.

To say they are dangerous is a gross understatement.

Solomon was a King of the Israelites very early in Western History, thought to have been chosen by God himself. In many legends, Solomon used all the gifts God bestowed upon him to bind 72 demons to construct the Temple that now bears his name among other tasks until he surrendered the. Each demon has a specific name, and terrible powers that could be used or abilities they can grant to their summoner.

Where I am from, we've taken to calling them the Demon God Pillars due to the sheer power they possessed. All of them combined nearly drove humankind into extinction and eliminate the concept of 'human beings existed on this world' altogether. It is hard to say what kind of strength the Demon Pillars of this place have, but I would strongly advise against trying to fight them.

Just be cautious, we are at a disadvantage here. And I am not sure how good of a clue it would be, the 72 demons are a common motif among those involved with the occult.

Well.. there were only a little over 20 of us, so they can't summon all of the pillars. But who she chooses to summon is important.

Yes, while many demons do have overlapping roles, almost all of them have a very specific motif or skill.
