Things had changed so rapidly in the past few days.

The loss of two of them hung over like a shroud, made even worse by the fact that an innocent person had been executed.

Was this....how the rest of the game was going to go...?🗈

....Even if it was, there wasn't much they could do now. Yuuko herself hasn't shown up in public since the trial, and while some have talked to her, she's been...subdued.

Did the trial hurt her just as much as them?

Regardless, the island is still beautiful, if deadly. Summer continues, beaming down on all of them, the waves of the sea warm and inviting.

But even if things look bleak...

They have something in their hands that will soon lead to the Truth, and the heart of this matter.

And in the air...lies a heavy sense that everything is about to change.

[ All day Thursday, Syaoran can be found wandering around - it's rather aimless, but nevertheless if he finds someone (unless you're Watanuki, Vinea or Freida) he plans on approaching them with a rather polite: ] Excuse me-- I was wondering if you could answer a few quick questions for me. It's important. [ There's an obvious determination in Syaoran's eyes that set there, it seems. ]

[Considering how he was questioning others when they arrived, Erhard isn't bothered by Syaoran's interruption. He sets down the book he was looking at and nods.]

Of course. Ask anything you want.

[Watanuki is cleaning up the kitchen after having made something, with a goat butler standing nearby looking disgruntled at Watanuki doing the work.]

Hmm? What is it?

What is it? [ Natsuno is still rocking out his summer is the new winter look today. ]

WEEKLY EVENT - TWO BILLY GOATS GRUFF

[The goat butlers suddenly collect everyone - everyone, that is, except for Vinea and the servants, though they're free to follow along if they wish. When everyone is in the ballroom - which has been filled with light finger foods and drinks - Two handsome looking goat men will appear.

Both of them look human, and yet... they have red eyes, goat ears, and black goat horns extend from their heads, which are covered in shaggy black hair - it looks a lot like how Akira's hair looks, actually. Both of them are wearing the butler unforms, though they're definitely not as bulky as the rest of the servants here.

One of them - the one with short hair - speaks first.]

Welcome, dear guests. I am Kabandha -

[The other one next to him - with long hair - speaks next.]

And I am Arunasura. We have been tasked with providing you entertainment for the night.

We will ask you to solve a set of 6 puzzles - three for the two of us. Four are hidden in this very room, and Two are contained inside of two puzzle boxes which are also hiding here.

If you manage to solve all 6 riddles by the end of the night, we will give you a prize that you are sure to want...if you are seekers of the truth, that is.

[As one, they both bow deeply.]

[Explore around the ballroom and find the riddles! Once all the riddles have been found, we will put up top levels under this comment for characters to solve them.]

[Ruler notes the names, puzzles and riddles. He walks along perimeters, his neck craning as he peers up at the ceiling... if he wants to hide something from plain sight... that would be the place to do it]

Aha, I'm really starting to wonder how many Truths we're going to have to chase by the end of this Game.

[This is said around a mouthful of the food; Anon was already here, with his sword, practicing some swings on the side, when Things started happening and so he just made a beeline for sustenance.

Is there anything hiding in the foodstuffs.]

[ Let's check out the goats??? Is there any puzzles on them, in their hands, or poking out of their pockets? ]

[Well, time to check everything... Or at least, let's do a quick once-over first: Is there anything in this room that wasn't there before?

[ Syaoran himself is going to quietly wander around the room to see if there is anything immediately off. He's definitely going to be checking the corners (and since there are plants in said corners) will move them as necessary. Anything hiding behind them?

Because if not she's going to get some punch or whatever first. ]

[ He's here because you mods are menaces studying the goat guys as he slowly takes a sip of his drink. ]

RIDDLE TIME

[Now that all the riddles have been found, the goats direct everyone's attention back to them. One of the Goats takes three, as does the other - and they smile in tandem.]

Now then. We will ask you all three riddles - and you must come up with the answer.

If the answer is wrong, then you'll have a minor punishment.

If you can get all three correct, then we will hand over our prize.

[At that, they stand on either side, away from each other.]

[After the riddles and some discussions, it was decided to put coins in the book and the meeting place is Erhard's room, with of course an understanding people can be allowed to beg out in case of another round of emotional trauma. Once Ruler arrives, he puts the book on the doctor's desk]

We have now two coins that would fit the intent of the book, it's time to see what they would do. Let's start with the one that was found yesterday... brace yourselves.

[Once everyone makes indications of being ready, the coin from the ash box was put in]

He's still picking pieces of glitter out of his fur, but he's almost glitter free! Hooray]

[Let's pretend he was there during riddle-solving so it makes sense that he's here now.]

[It's logical for his room to be used, he's cleared out some unnecessary items and shifted things around for maximum space, and he doesn't smoke. Also he has the first aid kit in his bathroom just in case, so if anything goes wrong he'll be ready to do whatever he can.

Still, it's strange having people gathered in what should be a private space, but maybe the gesture will show certain parties that he's trying to be part of the group.]

If anyone feels overwhelmed when these tests are done, sit down and raise your hand so I can check on you.

[ Well, following the placing of the other coin and the sequence of events that followed, Riku figured it was also time to use the second coin they had, so he's going to be doing that now. In the book it goes! ]
