It was noon on Friday.

No matter where they were, no matter what they were doing...the moment the chimes rang out through the hall, they felt a change.

The world...began to expand, as they felt themselves leaving the world they were on, and towards another, much larger world...🗈

This new world looked like...the inside of an ornate courtroom, like something that wouldn't be too far from some kind of grand fantasy novel.

The Witch, Lambdadelta was there, sitting in the most important place, smiling brightly at everyone. There was no music to be heard, but... perhaps on another plane, in another place, someone else heard music as they gazed upon the proceedings.

As they looked around, they might have also been surprised to see that their forms had changed - perhaps only slightly, or a much more dramatic change. It seemed like this place demanded a different form in some way, even if it was just a change of clothing.

...There was a deep silence in the room, one that no one wanted to break. It was the faint tension in the air, like the moments before a race or a competition begins.

Yesterday had been the start of the game. But now, armed with all they knew...now, they had to truly go up against the Witch, and somehow.....win.

"Sol," was it? If he was indeed near the door, perhaps he could have. And I do find the Lady's suggestion strange.

His body was leaning against it before I tore it out yesterday morning.

[He clears his throat.] Sorry about that, by the way.

Eh, it happens. I tried leaning on the door like how Riku probably would have been- if he wrote it, it was probably before he fell- the angle was all wrong, I couldn't even reach the writing backwards like that and Riku and I aren't that far off in height.

So... maybe someone else wrote it. Maybe whoever shot him with the gun?

That'd be my guess, yeah.

Wait, then why would the killer write on the door like that?

Not sure. Maybe that's 'l' was part of another letter? 'SORRY'? Heh, too late for that, Culprit.

If we believe that was the culprit's intention, what could have interrupted them?

And... he had a... a.. b-bullet in his... [Silver falters, but then steels himself] He has a bullet in his head, right? Is that what for sure killed him?

He probably would have died from the other wounds eventually, but I'm pretty sure the headshot would have killed him, assuming he was still alive when it hit. But I mean, maybe his corpse was shot after the fact!

Hmmm.... I wonder, is this the right time to use the blue truth...?

Hmm. Is there someone he would have written a note to? Like any friends or maybe someone special?

Not that I know of: but we didn't really talk much.

...He has an important friend he told me about, when we first got here. But I don't think they're here.

A pair of friends he traveled with. The letters looked too strange to be SOL, when I saw them. That must also be part of the witch's trap.

[He simply nods and goes on with the trial.]

I see... [ A firm shake of her head. ]

[Bruno nervously chuckles as he rubs the back of his neck... Huh, he kind of forgor his har used to be longer.]
