MOCK ROUND INTRO LOG
Welcome to
This game is just a trial run, but please do not think you can sleep through this. The Witch fully intends to put the system through its paces, so please put up a good fight.
The difficulty level depends on you. Think deeply on your moves during this short play time.
You wake with a start - even if you don't remember falling asleep in the first place - and find yourself standing on the dock of what looks like an island. There's a noise behind you - and if you turn to look, you'll see a plain white boat taking off and leaving you all behind, not stopping for a second if you try to flag them down or scream at them.
It doesn't look like you can swim to shore, either - there's nothing but sea in all directions, and something tells you trying to swim out will end up badly. However, a small dip, if you were so inclined, would be fine. It's not like the weather is bad for it - it feels like it's summer, despite whatever it was when you laid eyes on the envelope.
...Speaking of, Every last one of you have an envelope in your hands, with a gold letter 'L' on it. It's the same letter you were reading before you 'woke' up here, after all. More than that, those of you who had supernatural or magical abilities will feel...strange, as if your abilities are being forcibly blocked. Try as you might, you just can't use them - though all of your physical abilities are intact, of course.
If you decide to head up the path, you'll find Goat....men? waiting for you near the doors to the mansion. Despite their bright red eyes, they merely bow politely and wordlessly bring you into the mansion, showing you your rooms and then stating that they will prepare food for you or anything else you should need whenever you want, in surprisingly deep voices.
As they leave, you can't help but wonder...
What did you just get yourself into?
Mock Round Calendar!
The taken page still requires a little coding, but it should be done by sometime today.
Thank you for your patience!

[Or so it seems? He seems to relax around them, at least... but it's hard to tell anything with an E-series...]
It sounds like robots were basically just another kind of person. That's pretty cool!!

[It's been a long time since then, but that gets a little bit too complicated for a quick robo-primer. She takes a moment to build the image of his robot-not-quite-buddy in her head...]
There are always those robots who rebel against their creator. They are either badly made, or something else happened to them -- almost the same as with humans. This Mr. Omega was a friend of yours?

[In their time, not all robots know their creators or even remember their creators anymore. They've become enough inhabitants of the planet that it's almost moot. Almost. You'd think.
There are a lot of things she thought she'd left in the far distant past that are echoing across this island. Interesting.]
Sometimes, even those robots who aren't malicious by nature will look down on humans and other life forms. The balance between us is hard to keep. But there were also many who were willing to live with humans.

I guess it's just like anything else... people of all shapes and sizes can chose to live with one another... or they can find reasons to hate.

[If the creator is extreme enough for the robot to want to destroy all his creations...
It's been a while, if ever, since she encountered a faction quite that extreme. In the old days, maybe. Now? Well.]
Even those who are alike can fall out, depending on the circumstance. I wonder how we will do.

[Though, at her musings, he pumps his fist enthusiastically]
As long as you have hope in your heart, I know you can do it! Oh! What's your name, anyway? I'm called Silver!
no subject
[Though she's verbally condemning the very humans responsible for her existence, she doesn't seem especially bitter or displeased about it.]
Of course, it isn't exclusive to humans.
[There's a brief, polite dip of her head.]
... Silver. I am Luna.

[he isn't sure which! But in the end, the result is the same; Eggman's ego and greed would destroy their world if they let him]
Yeah... anyone can make those sorts of mistakes.
[he smiles brightly] Oh, like the moon! It's nice to meet you, Luna!
no subject
It's good to meet you too. I suppose we'll all be working together for a time, silver and the moon.
[Theme matchups!!]
I look forward to seeing what comes of that.
