Welcome to Rokkenjima. This island may just be a copy in the middle of reformation, but the Witch extends her greetings all the same. Please, relax.

This game is just a trial run, but please do not think you can sleep through this. The Witch fully intends to put the system through its paces, so please put up a good fight.

The difficulty level depends on you. Think deeply on your moves during this short play time.

You wake with a start - even if you don't remember falling asleep in the first place - and find yourself standing on the dock of what looks like an island. There's a noise behind you - and if you turn to look, you'll see a plain white boat taking off and leaving you all behind, not stopping for a second if you try to flag them down or scream at them.

It doesn't look like you can swim to shore, either - there's nothing but sea in all directions, and something tells you trying to swim out will end up badly. However, a small dip, if you were so inclined, would be fine. It's not like the weather is bad for it - it feels like it's summer, despite whatever it was when you laid eyes on the envelope.

...Speaking of, Every last one of you have an envelope in your hands, with a gold letter 'L' on it. It's the same letter you were reading before you 'woke' up here, after all. More than that, those of you who had supernatural or magical abilities will feel...strange, as if your abilities are being forcibly blocked. Try as you might, you just can't use them - though all of your physical abilities are intact, of course.

If you decide to head up the path, you'll find Goat....men? waiting for you near the doors to the mansion. Despite their bright red eyes, they merely bow politely and wordlessly bring you into the mansion, showing you your rooms and then stating that they will prepare food for you or anything else you should need whenever you want, in surprisingly deep voices.

As they leave, you can't help but wonder...

What did you just get yourself into?

[She just casually floats over and lands on the ground, putting her hands on her hips with a faint sneer.

[Takashi smirks and darts at her, clearly moving to punch her right in the gut-

-then jukes to the side at the last moment, instead attempting to put her in a headlock. That's not hitting her, after all]

[Oooh, good try! She actually seems a little surprised at first when she sees him going for the headlock - but then she just grins, and stays still.

Somehow, despite how improbable it is, he absolutely misses her.

Even though she's standing stock still.]

[He skids to the side, crouching slightly. Interesting~ He's grinning, sharp-toothed and feral before moving in again, trying various methods- sweeps, grapples, cheap shots to the eyes-

Powers definitely don't seem to be a handicap for him what so ever.]

[It is quite impressive - and others would most likely have fallen to this terrifying onslaught,

But every time - no matter what he tries, he misses. He misses by milimeters, by the width of a hair - and what's really interesting is that it's not like something is pushing him away or making it harder.

No...

It's like every missed grab is just that - a miss. Even if it's statistically impossible...it's still a miss resulting from his own hands, feet, and body. small things, like a minor twitch there or an errant step here.

Huh... you don't have a better defense, you're making me worse. Cheating bitch.

[He sounds impressed... and after a moments thought he reaches out to the table and grabs the closest 'weapon'- poor, poor Silver - and chucks him at her.]

Hey, what're you-- NYAAAAAAUGHHH!!

[It's a SILVER BULLET SPECIAL! YEET!! please miss lambda protect him (and his giant lollipop)]

I'm the Witch of Certainty - and humans are fallible, you know. No matter how much you train, there's always the tiniest chance your muscles won't go the way you want them to. I could even give you a hairline fracture, but I want you around for the ga........eh?

[HEY SHE LIKES SILVER

The poor hedgehog goes to the side, though she quickly turns around and stops his momentum before he splats against the wall, setting him on the floor.]

H-Hey! No using other people as missiles!

[He scowls... but then relaxes, adjusting his jacket cuffs.]

So that's how you work. Thanks.

[Time to just sit down and go back to eatting]

And he's fine, he has armor on.

[IT ALL HAPPENS SO FAST. Once Silver is safe back on his feet, he takes off one of those steel gauntlets and throws it at Takashi.

Thankfully for Takashi, he's kind of a wimp and is way more used to throwing things with his mind than his arm]

You jerk! A little warning before you throw a guy next time!!

[It kinda thumps against him, making Takashi grunt. Rude]

If I warned you it woulda warned her.

Well then maybe you shouldn't throw people at all! [he sinks into a chair and pouts, eating his giant lollipop with a disgruntled expression] Some people are so rude...

Fly, huh? Guessing the witch blocked that?

Yup. [he furrows his brow, focusing on a piece of cake across the table. Nothing happens] Usually I can move stuff with my mind... but it's all blocked for the game. She said she'll give them back next week, though!

Impressive.

[He looks like he's already making plans of some sort]

[He squints at Takashi over his giant lollipop, suspicious]

I'm not going to help you commit any murders, fake or not, if that's what you're thinking!

It's not like it's any big secret - I told you my title! 'Certainty' should explain everything, riiiiight?

Besides, just because you know that doesn't mean you know everything. 'Certainty' covers quite a lot - more than you think it would.

[She giggles, floating over to him as he eats.]

It was really impressive, though. How long have you been training?

It's a chink in your armor, and that's all I need. Kekeke, you'll be eating a fist by the end of the week.

[He takes another bite before answering]

15 years or so. Since I started high school.

To get as good as you are, you must have put hours of practice in, huh? Nice.

I had to cut back during college, but a fit body equals a fit mind.
