Everyone's time is running out - but on friday, the lights return back to normal light, and the rats squeak loudly, clawing at the plastic of their little closed off areas.
Something is happening - and it seems the time has come for action.
[As they enter down the trapdoor, they find themselves in a wide area like the lobby, lights flashing on the walls on and off like glowing moss, the light level itself being just bright enough to not give anyone a seizure or a headache.
Though as they get to the center, a bright light suddenly flashes - and something begins to play in front of them in the wide gap created by the light:]
”Rise and shine!”
It’s early enough in the morning that the moon is still shining outside. Just moments ago, a red-headed teenager had been sleeping peacefully in his bed. But then a black man kicks down the door and shouts the previous sentence, which makes the him bold upright in bed, screaming in terror at the sudden intrusion.
The teenager looks around the room in a panic, until his gaze settles on the man, and he scowls.
“It’s five in the goddamn morning - what do you want?!”
The man cheerfully responds with, “It’s breakfast time! We gotta eat early before training, you know how it goes.”
“Training?! But we’re on a mission, Reyes!”
“Even on a mission you have to train your mind and body. Get up at five, eat and get dressed, and start training by six. We’ll skip the weight training since there’s no gym here, but we can do cardio, and maybe a few laps in the pool. Then at eight we’ll shower and get started with our work.”
The boy just stares at the man for a moment longer. Then he flops back down in bed and pulls the blanket over his head.
The man responds by walking over to the bed, rolling the boy up like a burrito, and then hoisting him over his shoulder to carry him out. The boy struggles during this, yelling at the man to put him down and let him out of the blankets, but the man pays no mind to it. Instead, he says, “I guess I’ll be getting some weight training after all!” As he easily carries the boy out of his room and down the hall.
[The light fades after that - but it was like you'd been watching from a camera on the wall, or something like that.]
[ Roxas wishes he could say that was strangest thing he's ever seen, but he is used to weirder stuff by now - though he wonders what suddenly brought this on. Did this place record and play previous events of other people passing by? ]
[They go down a long hallway as they continue north - no doors on the walls. It seems to stretch on for minutes, but when it opens up -
There's a room full of discarded doors, all placed haphasardly in a pile up to the endless ceiling. There are exits in all four locations, and it doesn't look like there are any enemies here...]
[As you go left, you come to another long hallway - but this one has doors lining the walls.
The lights flare to life again, revealing another memory:]
This is shot from above and at a distance, from the opposite end of a long hallway.
A person- neither the man nor the boy from before, but someone new, who looks a little haggard- is walking down the hallway. He starts from underneath the camera, and walks slowly towards the other end of the hall. There is at least 30 seconds of this man walking sleepily, getting further and further away.
Then, as he reaches an adjacent hallway, a spray of spiderweb hits him. He barely has time to let out a surprised noise before his face is covered, and he’s clawing at the webbing, trying to pry it off.
Then long, spindly spider limbs reach out, grab the man, and drag him out of sight.
About ten minutes later, the older man from the previous pair steps out of his room, yawning. He starts to walk down the hall as well, but stops suddenly and looks at a spot on the floor. He crouches down, and he sticks his fingers in a bit of the webbing left behind. He rubs it between his fingers for a moment, like he’s inspecting it, and then finds that they are stuck together.
The man abruptly stands up and hurries back down the hall, entering his room and shutting it behind himself.
[Just like before, it fades quickly, leaving only questions and the hallway of doors behind it.
But you cannot go back. A wall has appeared behind you as you were watching the memories.]
Roxas is quiet as the memories come on by, watching what happens, and then he'll look over at the other two, coming closer as Kohaku tries to open one of the doors. ]

Roxas snorts a little at that. ]
...Yeah we should.
[ An area of flickering lights, huh? It's okay, a little bit of darkness never hurt anyone. ]

Let's go then!

But then he's back to business, pulling out his guns because well... better safe than sorry. ]

...That was weird.
[ He says this anyway, despite everything. ]
We should probably keep going, though.

[ Gesturing to Roxas.
Let's keep going indeed. ]

Wait a minute, those are definitely a lot of doors here. Hm.

...Do we just pick one or...?
[ Pick an exit, he means. ]

...It doesn't look like there's anything else we can find here.
[ Since all the doors lead back to the lobby, they might have to take one of them back since the wall suddenly slid up all rude-like behind them. ]
