Everyone's time is running out - but on friday, the lights return back to normal light, and the rats squeak loudly, clawing at the plastic of their little closed off areas.
Something is happening - and it seems the time has come for action.
[As you go left, you come to another long hallway - but this one has doors lining the walls.
The lights flare to life again, revealing another memory:]
This is shot from above and at a distance, from the opposite end of a long hallway.
A person- neither the man nor the boy from before, but someone new, who looks a little haggard- is walking down the hallway. He starts from underneath the camera, and walks slowly towards the other end of the hall. There is at least 30 seconds of this man walking sleepily, getting further and further away.
Then, as he reaches an adjacent hallway, a spray of spiderweb hits him. He barely has time to let out a surprised noise before his face is covered, and he’s clawing at the webbing, trying to pry it off.
Then long, spindly spider limbs reach out, grab the man, and drag him out of sight.
About ten minutes later, the older man from the previous pair steps out of his room, yawning. He starts to walk down the hall as well, but stops suddenly and looks at a spot on the floor. He crouches down, and he sticks his fingers in a bit of the webbing left behind. He rubs it between his fingers for a moment, like he’s inspecting it, and then finds that they are stuck together.
The man abruptly stands up and hurries back down the hall, entering his room and shutting it behind himself.
[Just like before, it fades quickly, leaving only questions and the hallway of doors behind it.
But you cannot go back. A wall has appeared behind you as you were watching the memories.]
Roxas is quiet as the memories come on by, watching what happens, and then he'll look over at the other two, coming closer as Kohaku tries to open one of the doors. ]
[You step into the door, and back into the lobby where you came from. However - The path leading back to the room of doors is closed off. There's no other path, locking you only in the lobby.
As you ponder this, the light returns, flashing it's memory on everyone gathered:]
This memory is from the eye-level of someone standing at the check-in desk at the lobby. They seem to be looking at the boy and the man from the other memories, who are sitting at the couches, talking about something.
Then, the door opens, and a haggard looking man walks in - clearly cold and hungry looking, as the two look up and suddenly shuffle their papers out of view. The man is kept in focus - and then suddenly the viewpoint turns to look at a fellow Staff member to their left.
“Pest?” The viewpoint person says, and the other Staff nods. “Pest,” they say, looking a little unhappy. The viewpoint character looks back at the other man - who is now talking with the other two - and gives a small, horrified gasp. Quickly, the viewpoint moves to their side, staring directly at the haggard man.
“Hello, sir,” the viewpoint character says, polite and yet not as friendly as they were towards any of their other guests. “Please come with me so we can get you medical attention.”
The other staff member ushers the man out - the viewpoint looks at him leave - and then turns back to the boy and the older man on the couch, who now look very confused. “I apologise for the inconvenience, sirs. Something like that will not happen again, I can assure you - please enjoy the rest of your stay here, and be assured that we will quickly have the Pest eliminated.”
The boy looks alarmed at that - “What?!” - but the older man simply goes silent, eyes staring into the viewpoint, as if trying to size it up. But ultimately he says nothing, and instead ushers the boy away.
[As the lights fade, the way forward remains blocked.
It seems your only option for now is to head back to the resort proper....]
[ It's easy for Roxas to connect the dots once the haggard man appears again.
"eliminated" and then what happened with the spider in that other memory (which luckily wasn't explicit in things happening.) His expression kind of flickers with no small amount of disgust, and then he's off to the resort once he figures that's the only way they can go now. ]

Um.
The lobby, again? They can even see the trapdoor they came in from.]

[ Instead of stepping through, Kohaku will just open one of the other doors and see if that yields the same result. ]

[ Can they go further down the hallway to see if there is anything else to find here...? ]

[ ... ]
...It doesn't look like there's anything else we can find here.
[ Since all the doors lead back to the lobby, they might have to take one of them back since the wall suddenly slid up all rude-like behind them. ]

[ They should at least check to see if that is a path still open in the storage room. ]
Let's get out of here first, though.
[ Time to open a door and step through? ]
