WEEK 5 MINGLE

They said it was a break week, but two of your number were lost anyway last week. While you're all tired and still recovering, the speakers crackle to life with the voice of The Lady.
"Attention, Guests. The game is back on. Break week is now over. Happy Holidays."
The Staff are still like they were last week - only this time, the orders almost always go wrong, if they even manage to go through - the Staff are vanishing constantly. Meals are also getting affected - they're still perfectly edible, but they're not as delicious as they once were, with seasoning and other things occasionally being off. The Sign warning people to not take knives is still on the kitchen door, but The Chef seems incredibly tired, often resting on a chair in the corner.
The Resort is still furnished with Holiday items - but after Medic's christmas protest, there are more items related to other holidays up, and it's much more balanced - objects and colors of multiple holidays side by side in harmony, with the mistletoe still up for any needed smooching. There are, however, more wriggling...things, and there's even an entire 'tree' made of eldritch tentacles with glowing balls of light on them that wink in an oddly hypnotic fashion.
The weather is still nothing, but the courtyard seems to have switched to a much warmer clime, which while still a little cool is pleasant enough to sit outside in. Finally, the music this week seems... almost ominous...?
On Monday morning, another memory is returned to everyone, one more traumatic this time instead of gentle like the others have been. Yet, you feel as if you know a little more about your time in this world, now. Not everything, but...enough.
Enough to see this game through to the end, at least.

... And then he might be resting his chin on his shoulder after a couple of seconds. ]
Yes.
[ There's no hesitation to answer that question, either. Though, his voice goes quiet - an attempt to make it so only Roxas can hear him, easily. ]
For one, we don't know what kinds of tricks The Lady might try to pull, the more we try to fight back. For instance, it'd most likely be better to keep everything valuable to us winning tucked away.
[ A brief pause... ]
And with only someone the one hiding it trusts the most, aware of the location of it. On top of that, it'd be even better to avoid letting everyone else know who they told.
[ Small gesture. ]
Doing that would mean that, if someone did go digging for it, there's more of a chance they'd leave evidence behind. [ a beat ] Which would possibly help reveal the person willing to betray everyone.
[ Just... a brief pause as he glances away. ]
Or maybe even being forced into it, I guess...

Even if someone stole them, I could just easily write it all up again, and I'm sure everyone else also remembers the things brought up in the meetings too. It really would be a waste of time on their part...to take away something like this.
I really don't know if there's someone who would be in that position - forced or not - but I guess it's ... something to think about, a little.
[ Since he's the one who has all of this right now, he wonders if it's really a question as to who he trusts the most, considering. ]
...And, it would be kind of a pain to be forced to rewrite it all again. I trust the others who have any important things to keep them safe in their own way, so as for this...I guess it'll be good to hold onto after a meeting and then just bring it back to every one that pops up.

[ The mindset of someone who'd immediately distrusted every single person, the moment he woke up here....... ]
But, you did ask if I thought someone would — not if they absolutely will.
[ He... hopes they won't? Also, he's moving around to face Roxas, hand gently messing up his hair, and then... kind of just lingering there. ]
I did tell you it's all up to you, remember? Do whatever you want.

[ Roxas hopes so too, because they don't really need that on top of everything else, and when Vanitas ruffles his hair, he smiles a little at that, looking right at him. ]
...I've thought about it, and I think making sure I'm bringing it to any other meeting will still work out better anyway.
[ The blond then reaches out to lightly tap Vanitas on the nose with just one finger. ]

... Now just going to gently tug at Roxas' hair as... as payback, or something. ]

And then he lets out a small surprised noise, before he then starts his attack... poking at Vanitas' sides with two fingers. ]

There's a challenging look! Come at him
, bruh, he's ripped!!! JUST TRY IT, ROXAS! ]
