Intro log: Welcome to The Resort!

Before you even open your eyes, you can tell something is not right. It's cold. Not quite unbearably so, but cold enough that you can take notice of it. And as soon as you open your eyes, you will be able to see why it's so cold: you're in the middle of a snowy forest, with only a single two-lane road cutting through the thick trees.
Unfortunately, you seem to be without transportation. Fortunately, you are wearing warm clothes and snow gear, so freezing isn't an immediate problem. But without transportation, you're in for a long walk ahead of you.
There are others around as well. Other people, just as lost and confused as you are. Everyone seems to be lacking any memory that might explain why everyone is here. As far as anyone knows, all of you were just ripped out of your previous lives and dumped here on this snowy road, wearing snow gear and having any items that are important to you already on hand. And for some of you, you even have a new power, one that you somehow instantly know how to use...
Two ways to go: forward and back. Despite having no indication of which way is the 'right' way, you feel drawn towards one direction in particular. Going 'back' is possible, but you get the feeling that you will be even more lost if you try. And given that you have no food or water on you, it's best to keep moving forward.
So, are you ready to walk? Because you have a long road ahead of you.
((Welcome to The Resort! Your characters will have any objects or animals with them that they should have given their canon point, but are dressed in cold weather clothing.
This prompt is just the first part of the intro log. New top-levels will go up over the course of the weekend as everyone progresses from 'where the hell am I?' to the resort proper, and to getting settled in. For now, just start with this prompt. We'll link further updates here for easy access.))

He raises his hand to his head, incredulous, and says softly but with a lot of feeling: ] ... what the fuck?
It doesn't hurt. My head doesn't fucking hurt.
[ That should be a cause for celebration, but right now? He's mostly confused.
Also he's carrying a violin case, just to get that mentioned. ]

[Why would not having pain be a bad thing???]
no subject
Don't know about bad, but it's the first time in years. Kinda noteworthy.
no subject
Mmm, I can see why that would be concerning. But still, it's good that you aren't feeling pain.
no subject
[ He gestures at their surroundings a little, though really... with all that snow, there's not much to even gesture at. ]
no subject
W-well at least it's a little easier to travel out here without pain?
no subject
Won't save us from freezing if we don't find some shelter sometime soon.
no subject
[ Comes a sort of nonchalant response.
He's empty-handed and dressed in a lot of fuzzy red and black, so he's... visually not much of a threat? Smirk notwithstanding. ]

[ Kohaku sure doesn't care whether or not this guy looks like he can pack a punch - he's ready to get into a fight pretty much instantly anyway. ]
Some nice last words you got there.
no subject
I do enjoy making the last words a person ever hears interesting.
no subject
Better start talking to yourself then.
no subject
I'm starting to think talk is all you're good for... Though, you're more than welcome to try proving me wrong.
[ With that, he's summoning the Keyblade, the grin now something bordering on... excitement. ]
no subject
On his end there's no words but -- uh, that is a lot of knives. How did he get 5 knives into his hand this fast??
And hey, here's a swift movement to change the way they're facing each other and slash at Vanitas from the side. ]
no subject
A wide grin spreads over his lips as he moves the Keyblade to block each slash.
He will be working to create an opening, all so he can send a knee into the guy's gut. ]
no subject
[Iwai doesn't even turning his head around when he walks by]
no subject
[ Or at least for Kohaku that's the case. ]
no subject
[Iwai, don't needle this random guy]
no subject
[ Kohaku's just sighing. ]
no subject
[He's definitely not believing that]
no subject
[ Meanwhile the thought that someone hasn't ever seen a zombie has literally not occurred to Kohaku. ]
no subject
[That's the most likely reason someone would be joking about zombies in a situation like this, in his opinion]
no subject
[ After a certain amount of time in the zombie post-apocalypse, you lose your humor about the damn things. ]
no subject
So, why'd someone want to kidnap you and leave you in the middle of nowhere?
[May as well ask that directly. See why this guy would be brought here]
no subject
[ Just gestures around at everyone else walking. ]
How about you? Any ideas?
no subject
[Ex-yakuza. Of course he can think of a few]
But they wouldn't get all of you involved if they were trying to get rid of me. I never met any of you ever before.
[Outright lying, he isn't going to mention he knows Akira]
