Intro log: Welcome to The Resort!

Before you even open your eyes, you can tell something is not right. It's cold. Not quite unbearably so, but cold enough that you can take notice of it. And as soon as you open your eyes, you will be able to see why it's so cold: you're in the middle of a snowy forest, with only a single two-lane road cutting through the thick trees.
Unfortunately, you seem to be without transportation. Fortunately, you are wearing warm clothes and snow gear, so freezing isn't an immediate problem. But without transportation, you're in for a long walk ahead of you.
There are others around as well. Other people, just as lost and confused as you are. Everyone seems to be lacking any memory that might explain why everyone is here. As far as anyone knows, all of you were just ripped out of your previous lives and dumped here on this snowy road, wearing snow gear and having any items that are important to you already on hand. And for some of you, you even have a new power, one that you somehow instantly know how to use...
Two ways to go: forward and back. Despite having no indication of which way is the 'right' way, you feel drawn towards one direction in particular. Going 'back' is possible, but you get the feeling that you will be even more lost if you try. And given that you have no food or water on you, it's best to keep moving forward.
So, are you ready to walk? Because you have a long road ahead of you.
((Welcome to The Resort! Your characters will have any objects or animals with them that they should have given their canon point, but are dressed in cold weather clothing.
This prompt is just the first part of the intro log. New top-levels will go up over the course of the weekend as everyone progresses from 'where the hell am I?' to the resort proper, and to getting settled in. For now, just start with this prompt. We'll link further updates here for easy access.))

Good thing he has another option.
With no memory of ever falling off, Snake gets back onto the snowmobile next to him with a grunt. You'll have to stop him if you want to hitch a ride, because he's not making any offers.
Just don't expect the gas to last very long.]

[There's a somewhat pissed off lesbian running after Snake as he starts up the snowmobile.]
What the hell do you think you're doing, heading off alone?!
no subject
Getting the hell out of here.
no subject
You asshole--! That thing's gonna run out--out of gas and then you'll freeze to death! We need--We need to stick together!
no subject
I'm not going to die out here. [If nothing else, he knows how to survive.] And I work best alone.

[Even if Atsushi logically knows that they didn't all get here on one snowmobile, that doesn't stop him from thinking that it's their only way out of this place.]
no subject
Still, he casts a glance over to the young man. He's at least not zooming off immediately.]
I only have so much gas. More weight will slow it down.
no subject
Will you at least send help in our direction?
[If there's a road, then there has to be a town somewhere nearby, right?]
no subject
[Snake settles his hands on the handles of the snowmobile, but pauses, and looks back over to Atsushi.]
You know how to take care of yourself?

[Medic could not care less that this is a complete stranger. Archimedes needs Warmth.
Archimedes, by the way, is still cuddled inside Medic's coat, and Snake can see a vague bird-shaped lump if he pays attention.]
no subject
A bird, huh?
[He narrows his eyes at Medic, and eventually registers the lump in his coat.]
You take it everywhere with you?
no subject
[The lump wiggles and coos.]
no subject
[Really, the bird thing is the most compelling reason to let this guy on board. Still, he doesn't know him, and letting a stranger on a snowmobile is one way to get knifed in the back.]
Who are you?

Keeps fuckin going.
...Though not particularly fast because that snowmobile sure is running out of gas right about now. If you listen closely, you can hear his grunts as it slowly comes to a stop.]

Oh, is it out of fuel already?

You got room for one more on there?
no subject
Not one for introductions, huh?

[He pauses, looking Snake up and down.]
But I haven't seen you around here before.

Woah, what is that thing?
[She's going to try and catch up to check it out if it isn't going too fast, because what the heck...]
no subject
A snowmobile. Never seen one?
no subject
[ah, it's slowing down enough that she can look at it more...]
Uhh... how does it go? Is it some kinda magic thing?

[Another cosplayer!? Or... maybe cosplayer based on her other experiences. Point is. Holy shit that's a legit Solid Snake cosplayer(?) on a snowmobile and she can fangirl later, because THAT SURE IS A SNOWMOBILE!]
