The morning seemed so far away yesterday - yet, it also seems too soon when morning comes and you are all yet again ushered to the third floor by The Lady. The Captain is there, in all of his....wait, no, he's asleep.

The doors close, and...nothing happens. There's still the box labeled 'VOTES' in his lap on the couch, but...

On the table is a letter, that reads 'Only one person may be voted for execution this week. Please figure out who that will be during the time limit.'

As you finish reading that, music begins to play in the room...

Shirou didn't show up on Thursday night. He was headed off before he even made it to my room.

Minato volunteered to die during our first trial, and Makoto tirelessly pressed Flat last week to get the Barghest to reveal himself. IF either of them were possessed, I believe I'd know.

I know know how the monsters found Shirou, but it wasn't a leak without my group. Like I said, all I did was tell them about the Barghest. I didn't say anything about Shirou's role to anyone.

Akira-kun... We don't know who the Barghest is anymore.

[She's not going to go too much further on this train of thought. But there is that one small detail.]

I don't know if you would. So far we've caught someone who was eccentric, and then you've accused someone who was eccentric. You don't have experience yet in catching a monster who would act more low-key, do you?

I could only accuse Flat-san because I had information from the Seeker.

It's true that I don't have that information this week.

Kurusu-san, they wouldn't have been possessed then. You can't really use proof of their actions then as evidence that they're not possessed now, unless that same behavior is showing in this trial too.

If we think the Monsters can choose their host, and the Barghest is out to get Kurusu-san....

We don't have any reason to assume they can pick their host, though.

If they can pick, then Niijima-san and Arisato-san are perfect targets.
