The morning seemed so far away yesterday - yet, it also seems too soon when morning comes and you are all yet again ushered to the third floor by The Lady. The Captain is there, in all of his....wait, no, he's asleep.

The doors close, and...nothing happens. There's still the box labeled 'VOTES' in his lap on the couch, but...

On the table is a letter, that reads 'Only one person may be voted for execution this week. Please figure out who that will be during the time limit.'

As you finish reading that, music begins to play in the room...

Owain-kun said that it needed experience with swords to wield, and that it operates based on someone's magical power. Cinque uses a mace, and more than that she's able to use magic. There would be no reason for her to stab Shirou-kun like that.

Wasn't the sword used by someone who didn't know how to use it, though?

The primary use of the sword is magic—as you can see, the blade is in the shape of a lightning bolt. The jagged edges and sharp angles make it awkward to wield any other way.

Yes. But someone used it the way you you typically use a sword: physically.

... Apologies. I was agreeing with your point, they misused it because they utilized the blade.

They didn't know how to use it as a magic sword, right? Which is why they had to wield it physically. What I'm saying is that with her magic ability, Cinque could have used the sword's lightning powers instead.

And the Barghest clearly shared Flat's knowledge, so even if the doppelganger killed in Cinque's stead, they'd know the same.

They had to have known how to use it.

Shirou had lightning scars, remember?

Not well enough, if they needed to cut Shirou-kun up.

I'd guess that the lightning was used to stun him, while the sword itself was used to deliver the killing blow.

Why, I don't know. But that's just a guess.

It's more likely they knew both. That swords are for stabbing, and this was a magic sword. Owain wasn't shy in explaining that.

He wasn't. And he definitely put the sword on display in public for everyone to see.

Bear in mind that Cinque-san wouldn't have been the one doing the killing, Aoi. It would've been whatever monster was possessing her.

Just because Cinque has no reason doesn't mean the monster would not.

We could say that for just about anything. Are you saying that any evidence we have is useless, and we should just vote at random? Do you remember what happened in the first week, Akira-kun?

[She's gritting her teeth at this point.]

And what are your reasons for suspecting her, besides your gut feeling? Do you have any?

I'm not saying we should vote at random, but remember what I said about this being a game of trust and betrayal? That's mafia.
