Week 3: Sleepover with Karaoke!

[The weekend is ever-creeping towards them, which means it's time for another gathering -- this time in the newly-accessible second floor, which comes with some of the amenities of the first but better. The soft room is pretty much ideal for this sort of thing, and if there are any windows someone's probably hung a blanket against the void.

Extra kotatsu from long-ago sleepovers have been brought up, there are snacks and drinks scattered amongst the endless blanket nests and pillow forts, and karaoke and the animal cafe are just next door. They can choose to head out for those attractions or bring in the pet animals of the cafe if they'd like. Anything is possible if you believe.]

A guy like me isn't really a school clubs kind of guy.

[tilts his head at Atsushi]

Does that surprise you?

I don't know much about school clubs, but I would have thought that there would be at least one out there you like.

[shakes his head]

Not really.

And I didn't get along well with most of the student population at my other school, anyway.

It's their loss then, you're a good friend and a good person.

[smiles a little at Atsushi, clearly touched]

I stopped caring what my other classmates thought of me a long time ago, though.

You can't please everyone, so only focus on those who matter.

It sounds like you're running a misfits club, then.

[adjusts his glasses, eyes twinkling]

Then I guess I found a club I would join, if invited to.

You say that like you aren't already an honorary member.

Is the 'honorary' part because I never went to school?

It's "honorary" until you decide to make it official.

Because in the end, joining is your choice.
