Week 3: Sleepover with Karaoke!

[The weekend is ever-creeping towards them, which means it's time for another gathering -- this time in the newly-accessible second floor, which comes with some of the amenities of the first but better. The soft room is pretty much ideal for this sort of thing, and if there are any windows someone's probably hung a blanket against the void.

Extra kotatsu from long-ago sleepovers have been brought up, there are snacks and drinks scattered amongst the endless blanket nests and pillow forts, and karaoke and the animal cafe are just next door. They can choose to head out for those attractions or bring in the pet animals of the cafe if they'd like. Anything is possible if you believe.]

It was... kind of a specialized school club. We didn't actually do any school stuff in it, though, so...

A little bit? What job did you have on the student council?

I didn't have a particular role, to be honest. I joined because the student council president was my friend and senpai, and she needed some help keeping things running.

I'm glad I did, though... the people I met in student council were good people.

You think...? I'm just glad I was able to help a little, I guess.

Besides, it ended up working out well. I learned a lot of things there.

What kind of things did you learn?

About... rules, mostly. About when it's important to hold fast to them, and when you need to learn to bend, so you don't alienate the people you're supposed to be protecting with them.

Luckily, all of them ended up falling on different days, so I could still attend all of them, more or less.

You’re even more of a social butterfly than Nanashi, huh? I’m learning all sorts of things today.

Besides, I wasn't the one who had to maintain a really cool dueling persona in a virtual reality. That sounds pretty time consuming to me.

I wondered why you were so easy to talk to. You're a total pro at this.

[Have a peal of laughter at the description of her persona. It's not inaccurate, but it's been so long since she's had to really maintain it -- at least to the level she really did in Link VRAINS. It's funny.]

The duels definitely took longer and longer. The better you get, the tougher everyone is. I guess time flies when you're having fun?
