Week 3: Sleepover with Karaoke!

[The weekend is ever-creeping towards them, which means it's time for another gathering -- this time in the newly-accessible second floor, which comes with some of the amenities of the first but better. The soft room is pretty much ideal for this sort of thing, and if there are any windows someone's probably hung a blanket against the void.

Extra kotatsu from long-ago sleepovers have been brought up, there are snacks and drinks scattered amongst the endless blanket nests and pillow forts, and karaoke and the animal cafe are just next door. They can choose to head out for those attractions or bring in the pet animals of the cafe if they'd like. Anything is possible if you believe.]

Karaoke Pt. 1: Gerbear N'Cinque (closed to Gerome at first, but open to reactions when it happens)

[ She's peeking at the selection of songs when she spots him ]

Hey hey, Gerbear!

[ Going to walk over. ]

Want to help me out with something?

Karaoke Pt. 2: Solo Cinque!
[ Guess who found a song about fluffy fluffy time? This girl. This is the song she's going to sing, dance, and hit a tambourine. It's a lot of fun! Join up or react to her afterwards. ]

General Hanging

[ She's either bouncing along to whomever is singing, or all the way in the soft room setting up an area for herself. She's in normal pajamas with moogles on them. Either catch her on her tablet or writing in her journal! ]

[ Never before has a question sounded so ominous. ]

No.

[ Reaching to put a hand on his arm. ]

Come on. It'll be fun. Please?

[ Has Cinque ever betrayed anyone before?

Well... ignore Appy and the glitter. ]

[ Hey, he has to be careful. Coming to these things at all is a risk he's barely willing to take.

Also, never ignore the glitter. ]

You should know by now, I don't have "fun."

Well, it'll be fun for me then. I like doing things together.

[ At least she's honest \o/ ]

I won't ask anything else of you for the rest of the party.

[ Not surprising to hear that. After he thinks it over, he sighs. ]

What is it?

Sing a song with me?

I don't sing.

Well, you can say the lyrics while I sing.

[ Sounds good? ]

[ Even that feels like a lot. Grimacing. ]

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of... [ Gesturing at anyone who might be singing. ] ... this?

The purpose is to have fun.

[ And omg look he's being double teamed. SUBMIT. ]

[ This is playing dirty. But yes, he submits with a frown. ]

... Let's just finish this quickly.

[ Look at his life and look at his choices. ]

Okay!

[ Snagging his hand to pull to the song selection. She'll quickly select one. ]

Are you ready?

[ Listen, his choices have been pretty okay this week. Up until now. ]

I am. [ Said with such finality he might as well be marching to death. ]

It's okay, Gerbear. I'm doing this with you.

[ She'll keep holding his hand through it. So about that song selection. She's going to sing it and give it all that she can (and thankfully she actually can sing yay). Also she's going to bounce to the music and swing their linked arms together. ]

[ As soon as the music hits he's sweating. He's watched a kingdom fall, fought against an immortal dragon of ruin, traveled through time, and more. Yet this makes him nervous. It's pretty ridiculous.

Which is why he makes sure to say each and every word on the screen as clearly as he can. He won't be beaten by karaoke. Never. He's very clearly not singing (and he isn't really speaking to a beat either) but he is here and doing this. And he's letting Cinque swing his arm, which has a lot to do with trying to concentrate on the lyrics, honestly. ]
