FINALE

[And finally, after everything...it's over.
Everything is back to how it should be, once you exit out of the door behind the Waterfall. There are so many Monsters around, all of them excited and running around. Some are wondering what happened - some are just overwhelmed.
But, regardless....they're alive. They're here, after so much time. All of Monsterkind, back where they should be.
And everyone who you've lost...
They're back. They're back.
You have overcome so much. You have suffered through so much, and seen to the other side.
But now, for the first time in a long, long time...
...The Future is truly the brightest it's ever been.
No more pain. Only....forward, into wherever you go from here.
Though there is still so much to fix....there is still, as always...
Hope, and Dreams.
Hold onto those...
....And there's nothing you can't accomplish.]
THE END.

He did many, many things that I'm reasonably certain a person actually working for the mafia wouldn't do. Unless you're thinking of something specific.

But, really, poking fun at someone who's already so awkward about the situation... wouldn't it be more satisfying if he actually were more of a player instead of pretending to be one? Where's the enjoyment in this? If you're really wanting to scold someone for being too much like a romance protagonist... isn't that Dazai Osamu you're wanting to scold?
Though you're a bit late for that.

[ wait--why is she telling this to Dazai? ]
I considered it. But you aren't the same Dazai that caused all of that trouble for us. Ah--did I mention it? The real one got wind of what John was doing and tried to kill him, but Frisk killed him instead, I believe.
Anyhow--if you'd like to bait me further into trying to scold you, feel free. But I only want to exchange such words with the Dazai I saw in the garage, that night.

[he gives a shrug]
Fine by me. Do what satisfies you, in the end.

No, no, that's where you're wrong. I don't speak to John as a ghost of someone else. I speak to him as someone I care very much about, regardless of the bad things that happened between us.

Well, don't let me get in the way of that, then. I've made my stance on his performance of Dazai Osamu clear enough.
