We were thinking about it, and I don't think the murder is an important part of the "game". It's a murder mystery, so the mystery is the only part that matters.

While there's definitely some sort of symbolism attached to it, I don't understand why I would have been one of those selected or why Inaba's and mine would have hair tied to it while Dazai's does not.
