Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.

Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!

...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.

...Again. The loop happened again, and you're here. Everything is the same.

Someone who was dead is alive again.

[ once solomon has gotten....time to breathe and compartmentalize some of his emotions, he will go find the person that was probably the closest to sans and papyrus-- ren. ]

Ren, you're the ones that know Papyrus and Sans best, right? How do you think that we can get them on our side?

[Ren seems a little pale and shaky after everything with Sherlock, but he looks up when Solomon comes to talk to him]

Oh boy... yeah? I think so. But-

[He looks around to make sure no one is watching]

I'm scared if we tell them too much they might-

In my vote, I warned... whoever it was... what might happen. I think others did too. What if that's why they were taken?

[He shakes his head]

I know we need help, but I can't do that to Papyrus. Plus, I promised Sans I wouldn't get him hurt. If we do this we... we have to be careful.

You believe that they were taken because they grew too close to us and the incident?

[ it sounds likely. and he hates it. ]

Very well. We won't involve Papyrus, or at least do our best not to. I...too wish to lower the casualties as much as possible. But we need to get Sans to trust us. This is their world as much as it is ours, after all.

[He nods]

I'll accept the compromise.

Plus I don't think we need Papyrus to know. If something goes down... he'd help I think. He just seems like that kinda guy, you know? And I think the more we keep Papyrus out of it the more agreeable Sans might be.

If Sans is that protective, then I believe that would be the case as well. We should only involve those that need to be. No more, no less.

How did you befriend him, though?

It's funny, I barely did anything. Sans introduced me to him as 'the head of his fan club' when he caught me sneaking in. He's just one of those types that are really loud and friendly all the time I think. As long as you're nice to him and can stomach some weird food you should be fine.

... from how he talks I don't think he has a lot of friends. He's kinda like Gio- sorta overwhelming.

You know what, I stomached Gio's butter soup for a whole week before everyone was ripped to shreds by ghosts-- [ save a couple few ] --so I think I can handle something like that.

[ he smiles. ]

[And he practically bolts for the kitchen, where there's a lot of loud banging going on.

Well...uh...it’s my fault, really. I bothered Ren too much.

[ when papyrus leaves he’ll look at ren and mouth “what should we do????” ]

[He looks very helpless for a moment- he didn't expect to have to play Boss for anything actually important.

He comes out with some nice looking snacks for everyone after a moment.

There's a bit of an awkward silence, before he starts talking again.]

SO...I SEE YOU'VE BROUGHT A FRIEND? FOR...THE FAN CLUB?

[ he’ll nod towards ren, giving him a firm look. if it gets hairy, he’ll know to take the lead again. ][ he’s just... going to try and play along like papyrus didn’t just call him by his name five seconds ago. ]

But, uh, yes! I asked Ren if I could join. Uh. It’s my fault that we’re so early. I apologize.

[Ren is looking more and more Concerned. and Upset himself- less because things are going off the rails-

-and more because he legit looks worried about Papyrus. For all his talk about keeping their mouths shut he looks like he might be fighting with himself over this choice. They've been feeling like they're going mad... but they had each other.

Did... did Papyrus have anyone? What if Sans didn't know? He almost can't bear it and it's clear on his face he might break]

It's that or the Ruins, since there's an empty house there...
