[After so long a trip, you're all finally here. Taken through a hidden passage inside of the very mountain itself, you find yourself standing in front of a field of flowers, growing well due to the open roof above it. If you look up, you can just make out the shimmering colors off of the barrier - looking almost like the shine off of a soap bubble.

Try not to trample on the flowers as you approach the open, purple gate. And remember to wear your masks, now that you're here!

...Still, the sight of the yellow flowers waving in the wind....such a cheery sight fills you with determination for what's to come.

...Again. The loop happened again, and you're here. Everything is the same.

Someone who was dead is alive again.

[ he thinks about the ruler, the one who, last week, had definitely been in that house, who had definitely taken them in and served them her pie...and who had disappeared, the name already gone from their minds.

he wonders if he won't remember her next week. and how many other monsters have been completely erased from their mind. or if papyrus will be gone next week too, all because they got too close. ]

[ doesn't sound right at all, he wants to say. not with what ren had said in the meetings before. so either sans is lying and papyrus hasn't noticed, or...he's right.

both are concerning. but seeing the skeleton crying on ren's shoulder hurts him quite a bit, but he can't bring himself to go up there yet. ]

That must be terrible. But you're not alone. We're here to stop this.

[Ren shares a look with Solomon over that as well but doesn't say anything- they can investigate Sans more this week to try and get a better idea]

SANS...HE WAS BORN WITH EXTREMELY LOW HP AND DEFENSE. HE ONLY HAS A SINGLE POINT IN EACH! MAMA - MYRIAD - HAD THE SAME ISSUE, BUT NOT AS BADLY AS SANS. HE ALWAYS DID TAKE MORE AFTER HER THAN I DID. HE'S A BETTER FIGHTER THAN I AM, BUT I ALWAYS WORRY THAT, ONE DAY...

[He pauses.]

WHEN OUR MOTHERS....FELL DOWN...ABOUT 50 YEARS AGO, IT WAS HARD ON BOTH OF US. HE STARTED SLEEPING MORE, BEING LAZIER....I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, SO I JUST TRIED TO GET HIM MOTIVATED. ...I DON'T THINK IT WORKED AT ALL.

[Papyrus looks down at his hands.]

AND NOW...I KEEP FEELING THAT I'M JUST FORGETTING TOO MUCH. THERE SHOULD BE SOMETHING ELSE, SHOULDN'T THERE? WHO AM I FORGETTING? I DON'T KNOW....AND NEXT WEEK, WILL I HAVE FORGOTTEN SOMEONE ELSE IMPORTANT?

...WHAT IF SANS....?

Papyrus. [ once papyrus is done explaining, solomon will cut in, his tone firm. ]

We will do everything we can to make sure that you don’t forget Sans. It will be okay.

[ and you know what. it’s his turn to pull the skeleton into a hug. ]

[Ren steps back as Solomon steps in, since while Paps is Tol he is all bones so there's not much for two grown men to both hold onto there]

I have a friend on the surface... her mother fell down really young. She was the same way for a long time afterward... but she was able to recover with time. I know... as long as you keep being there for him Sans will too.

[He'll return the hug, tearing up again.]

[ he smiles at papyrus, nodding towards ren. ]

And we'll keep it going. Because... because you're our friend. [ a huge part of solomon didn't want to say that. he doesn't want to admit that, in fear of losing him in the later weeks. but ren is clearly papyrus' friend...and solomon thinks it'd be too cruel not to consider him that as well. ]

Food... I don't know Ren, any ideas?
