WEEK 1 || ACT: MINGLE
Monday comes onto the snowy town, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.
Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, and there's so much to explore.
But, there is also that ever-looming threat. Still, it doesn't seem like anyone here could do such a thing as summon something to eat this world....right?
Well. You still have time to figure it out.
...In fact, you'll have nothing but time.

CLEARLY I SHOULD TRY AGAIN!
[rng issss... well, this one's less fun.]
STANDING UPRIGHT IS A PERSON STANDING...

[ Says the buff sea horse that is sweating up a storm as he flexes. It's starting to smell like a wet barn... ]

[Actually, no, she's gonna yeet herself out of the party to where he is so she doesn't have to yell and lose her voice.]
Did you want to go another round?
no subject
I'm up for it. But I'll be ducking in an out throughout the party.

... and Hitoka could use some time making friends without having to deal with our shenanigans from time to time, also.
[him... dote...?]
Ah, but I'm also working on getting my head around all of those trials between these two decades. As a detective, I have a preference for talking with people with experience more than reading documentation.
[fuck paperwork]
So I've been working on that a little, too.
[figures it's safe to mention if he's away from the revelers?]

[Oh.
Well, if it's talk about this in particular, while most of the monsters might be distracted, she doesn't feel 100% safe, so she decides to opt for the next best thing.
Switching to speaking in Japanese.]
If there's anything in particular you need to know about the previous incidents, I can answer most things - except for the Camp, but I'm sure you can probably talk to Ren or the others about that...
no subject
Ren-kun was very informative on that front, yes. And we have some speculations going about potential patterns which is another reason I want fresh eyes and ears for it and haven't really looked into it much.

You mean like how all the set-ups for the things that have lead us all together deal with some type of 'game' that deals with murder? Specifically for the 6350s.

The gameshow particularly comes to mind for me, personally, but the fact that our SOULs are significantly different from any 'native' is a little telling.
Kind of makes me wonder if that's on purpose.
[That their SOULs are different - special, in fact.]

It's like - they're just letting it happen to us? I mean, I guess it made sense because 6350s were being treated as 'cannon fodder' for a long time, but it's like -
How do I say it?
Too... convenient? Like maybe you'd expect to hear stories similar to this happening to other SCPs, or normal humans, or even monsters, but... that's not the case, here. It's just us. The 6350s. The ones that have been deemed as "fictional" in this world.
no subject
[sorry Solomon, but like... ur org kinda sucked for a while]
no subject
I mean - if the organization that John was a part of couldn't really do much without the help of 6350s, then it's possible.
But that just makes this world even more fucked. Because that's when you go: "what the fuck will happen when all the 6350s decide to leave"? Of course, it's possible that some might decide to stay. But people can't live forever. What will happen then? Will everything just go back to shit because we're not here anymore?
[also agreed tbh re: The Foundation kind of sucking in spite of Solomon being generally an alright guy.]
no subject
That's what's making me wonder about how this particular mission will go, honestly...
no subject
I'm not going to bother saying that I know the answer to that myself.
Based on current findings, I feel like there's a mixed bag. The culprit -- or I guess you could say 'mastermind' tends to be sympathetic in most cases.
The exception, of course, being in your particular case. As a curse is just simply the negative emotions borne from a wish and cannot, naturally, be sympathized with. Even if you could somehow sympathize with the spider that created it in the first place.
[To which she has a lot of feelings about spiders - not that she'll ever voice them.]
