WEEK 1 || ACT: MINGLE
Monday comes onto the snowy town, though it still looks as if it's 'night' as ever.
Then again, you are underground. That's just to be expected, considering no natural light can get down here in the first place. The Monsters around you are just as friendly as ever, and there's so much to explore.
But, there is also that ever-looming threat. Still, it doesn't seem like anyone here could do such a thing as summon something to eat this world....right?
Well. You still have time to figure it out.
...In fact, you'll have nothing but time.

You mean like how all the set-ups for the things that have lead us all together deal with some type of 'game' that deals with murder? Specifically for the 6350s.

The gameshow particularly comes to mind for me, personally, but the fact that our SOULs are significantly different from any 'native' is a little telling.
Kind of makes me wonder if that's on purpose.
[That their SOULs are different - special, in fact.]

It's like - they're just letting it happen to us? I mean, I guess it made sense because 6350s were being treated as 'cannon fodder' for a long time, but it's like -
How do I say it?
Too... convenient? Like maybe you'd expect to hear stories similar to this happening to other SCPs, or normal humans, or even monsters, but... that's not the case, here. It's just us. The 6350s. The ones that have been deemed as "fictional" in this world.

[sorry Solomon, but like... ur org kinda sucked for a while]

I mean - if the organization that John was a part of couldn't really do much without the help of 6350s, then it's possible.
But that just makes this world even more fucked. Because that's when you go: "what the fuck will happen when all the 6350s decide to leave"? Of course, it's possible that some might decide to stay. But people can't live forever. What will happen then? Will everything just go back to shit because we're not here anymore?
[also agreed tbh re: The Foundation kind of sucking in spite of Solomon being generally an alright guy.]

That's what's making me wonder about how this particular mission will go, honestly...

I'm not going to bother saying that I know the answer to that myself.
Based on current findings, I feel like there's a mixed bag. The culprit -- or I guess you could say 'mastermind' tends to be sympathetic in most cases.
The exception, of course, being in your particular case. As a curse is just simply the negative emotions borne from a wish and cannot, naturally, be sympathized with. Even if you could somehow sympathize with the spider that created it in the first place.
[To which she has a lot of feelings about spiders - not that she'll ever voice them.]

[sure does relate to the BURN EVERYONE DOWN AND DRAG THEM INTO THE HELL OF DESPAIR feelios if something happened to people he cares about]
In reality, that mission probably shouldn't even be counted. Our group didn't manage to succeed to change much of anything--
[...
wait.]
Except an O5, I suppose.

[Just going between 'having a clown as our replacement O5' and 'having a heartless O5' is not a very good option, which is why she's relieved that Solomon gained back the feelings he had.]

[ok that's not true and also she probably saw everything he did but let him lie about this him bully.]
In any case, retrieval missions have definitely been a common theme, as well. Probably better to have guards up...

The other boyfriend was a part of the "retrieval" for the Hotel... [Yes, that is absolutely in air quotes.] It's kind of hilarious how common this sort of mission is.
[Be glad she's not calling him out on bullying.]

I'm not even going to argue that, because that means he gets bonus points from me.

Basically we had to save the assses of a shinigami and an idiot who got fused with some Bad Shit and got stuck in the Hotel's brain which was basically giving the House some problems.
You know, like a tumor you can't remove?
