[...Oh. She looks up and nods in acknowledgement.]

Hello, Ms. Rosa.

[She steps closer, taking out her notepad to write a message and then flip it to her:

"Hello Marona. I don't think I thanked you properly for saving my life."]

[Taking a moment to read that and:]

You're welcome. I'm sorry my magic wasn't strong enough to do more.

[golden_dream]

[She shrugs. Then writes:

"You're forgiven. Anyway, I want to do something to repay you.

How would you like a new outfit?"]

[...? Whatever she was expecting this conversation to be, it certainly wasn't that, and she pauses in a brief moment of confusion.]

I wouldn't say no, but I'm not very knowledgeable about fashion.

[Unless Rosa has something in mind already, she's of no help there.]

[She writes:

"So what? It'll be nice to not have to wear the same outfit every day, won't it? Or wash your clothes every day. Or feel dirty from not doing it."]

[Writes again:

"Just tell me what you'd be comfortable wearing. I'll do the rest."]

[She gives a quick nod.]

As long as it's easy to move in, that's fine. I can work with pants or a skirt.

[Especially since most of the clothes she's been able to find around here are dresses.]

[She nods, then writes out:

"Something utilitarian. All right. We'll keep it practical and comfortable... hold out your arms so I can get your measurements."]

[She has no measuring tape, but it's easy enough to just get a decent measurement through her hands. She gives it a little thought... and then, with a little appearance of white light, a pile of clothing is in Rosa's hands:

A sleeveless shirt, with button pockets for each breast, larger flap pockets for the waist, a long collared coat with more pockets, and tough long button-up pants with more sizable pockets at the sides and thighs. Including a pair of socks and durable boots for traveling. The pants are tight enough to fit for her waist but include rungs for a belt or whatever else she could hang from them. The entire outfit is a monochrome sort of drab olive, making it reminiscent of a military uniform. The material is a light breathable cotton with a heavier weave for the coat. Soft, yet tough and durable.

She holds it out for her to take.]

[Marona blinks a couple of times, because honestly she had no idea what to expect from Rosa's power. When she reaches out, it's hesitant, looking over the fabric and the cut.]

This... looks really useful. Thank you, Ms. Rosa.

[Her voice is still quiet, but there's some genuine gratitude in there.]

[She nods, then writes:

"You're welcome. We're going to be indoors, so I made the shirt sleeveless. You could probably swim easily if you threw the coat away... though hopefully we won't have to deal with something like that.

Anyway, I'm glad you like it."]

That's... incredibly thoughtful of you.

[It's so much more pragmatic than literally any other outfits she's got. This is some really good design sense.]

[She shrugs. Then writes:

"I'm just glad I could do something... you saved my life. Maybe more than once."]
