TRIAL

The morning seemed so far away yesterday - yet, it also seems too soon when morning comes and you are all yet again ushered to the third floor by The Lady. The Captain is there, in all of his....glory? It's hard to tell.

The doors close, and he speaks up, this time reclining on one of the couches in the room.

"You know the drill - Since one of you have died during the game, it's your responsibility to try and vote someone out. You have six hours to talk about it, but then-"

He taps on a box on the coffee table in front of him, labeled 'VOTES'.

"-you'll have to put in your vote so someone can be punished. You all saw what happens when you refuse to play, right?"

He leans back, placing his hands behind his head.

"So get to it."

As he says that, music begins to play in the room...

It'd be really dangerous to try to pick out who did it based off of motive or how they're acting if we don't know how the monsters act while they're monsters...

It could be totally different.

[Could be just a mild brainwashing, or total ravenous murder, or... well, he has no idea. How much can the monsters think? They clearly have been targeting certain people, so...?]

[Akira's gaze flickers towards the sleeping captain, before he rolls his eyes]

Wish me luck getting anything useful out of that lazy bum, yeah?

[flashes Minato a smile, before lifting his arm for a forearm bump]

Minato grimaces, but here, he'll be your seeing eye human until it wears off.]

[groping out blindly for something on which he can steady himself]

[He reaches out, so. He ends up taking Akira's hand, I guess? It's fine.]

Maybe someone else should ask him your questions. I don't think he likes you.

[purrtagonist]

[grasping it tightly, but he looks put out and is pouting slightly]

What did I ever do to him?

[messianic]

[A very, very faint quirk of his lips.]

I think people in positions of authority don't like you in general.

[purrtagonist]

[HE LIKES IT THAT WAY]

They shouldn't.

[messianic]

[A swipe of his thumb over Akira's knuckles.]

Let me try asking the next questions we've got, okay?

[purrtagonist]

[rocks back on his heels as he patiently waits for the next two minutes to pass]

You want to try asking the questions I didn't receive answers for?

Yeah, I can give it a try. What do you want me to focus on?

Whether those who were turned into monsters know they're possessed or not.

[A firm nod, which...he then realizes Akira can't see.]

Got it. As soon as you're back to normal, I'll go ask.

[He's being Akira's anchor to reality right now.]

[it helps! being blind isn't fun, though to be fair he's more annoyed than panicked at the moment]

[and as soon as two minutes pass, he jerks back and blinks rapidly as his eyesight returns]

Reaching out to steady him with his free hand, his other still holding Akira's hand.]

[his grip on Minato's hand tightens briefly]
