TRIAL

The morning seemed so far away yesterday - yet, it also seems too soon when morning comes and you are all yet again ushered to the third floor by The Lady. The Captain is there, in all of his....glory? It's hard to tell.

The doors close, and he speaks up, this time reclining on one of the couches in the room.

"You know the drill - Since one of you have died during the game, it's your responsibility to try and vote someone out. You have six hours to talk about it, but then-"

He taps on a box on the coffee table in front of him, labeled 'VOTES'.

"-you'll have to put in your vote so someone can be punished. You all saw what happens when you refuse to play, right?"

He leans back, placing his hands behind his head.

"So get to it."

As he says that, music begins to play in the room...

. . . that's been my assumption, but Minato brings up a good point. We don't know how these monsters work, or what the possession is like mechanically.

We know they were probably in control of themselves before and after, because they're in disguise, and because they dressed up the body. Unless someone else did that.

I doubt it was someone else, but-- these sounds like questions for our sleepy host.

He said no, not this time. That no one else touches the body unless the killer asks.

[Which means that it might be something they have to deal with in the future. Great preview.]

I assume they could ask the Staff for help cleaning up?

Or for messing up the crime scene and making it even harder for us to figure anything out.

[There are so many possibilities! A whole rainbow of them?!]

Good to know that the knowledge is out there in public for our next killer to use in the future.

If it was already a part of the game options for the mafia, then they should know about it. And now that we're aware of it...

[The real question is--]

It depends on whether we can get any more information out of the Captain or the staff about interference, if it happens.

We should be able to. It's only fair.

[doesn't mean they will be able to, though]

It'd be really dangerous to try to pick out who did it based off of motive or how they're acting if we don't know how the monsters act while they're monsters...

It could be totally different.

[Could be just a mild brainwashing, or total ravenous murder, or... well, he has no idea. How much can the monsters think? They clearly have been targeting certain people, so...?]

[Akira's gaze flickers towards the sleeping captain, before he rolls his eyes]

Wish me luck getting anything useful out of that lazy bum, yeah?

[TIME TO ASK SOME QUESTIONS]

[flashes Minato a smile, before lifting his arm for a forearm bump]

[A swipe of his thumb over Akira's knuckles.]

[rocks back on his heels as he patiently waits for the next two minutes to pass]

Whether those who were turned into monsters know they're possessed or not.
