RECORDING 7: THE THIRD WEEK.

A third week in this place begins, with less of your number among you. The final week completely covered by everyone's rations, though with proper meting out, you'll be able to make it stretch until after week 4. It seems as if everyone will have to go without a few meals here and there..

To make things worse, when you wake up - it's clear the Miasma has gotten thicker. Everyone, save those still protected either by their powers or items they brought with them, is now even more deeply affected by the curse. Arguments will be flaring up more, along with negative thoughts and feelings...and even more worrying Is that any magic that touches the house itself will corrode over time. If a barrier is put in place and touches the floor, walls, or ceiling, in half a day it will be completely consumed by the miasma and fizzle out. Spells or seals will also corrode, and even personal healing abilities have been halved.

The Temperature has dropped, just a bit - down to the mid to low 60's. Strange, isn't it? As before,the rooms have changed, so hopefully you kept anything essential in the static area.

It wasn't really dating. I suppose it's better to say we're not friends without the benefits.

[ Though now Ango has fallen into his trap.

Time to hook an arm around his stomach and pull him into the tub with him. Water is going get on the floor but it's fine no one will want to use this bathroom anyways ]

[The rest of that sentence is lost to the bath. He is totally getting a mouthful of water as he's dragged right in.]

[ He's laughing. ]

You should see your face! I wish I had the camera with me.

[He is absolutely sputtering as he surfaces out of the water.]

Mo-kun! Don't just yank someone into the bath, I could have had technology on me!

[Unfortunately, he's going to end up touching WWX's forehead, as he's trying to shove WWX away from him. Skin-to-skin contact means it's memory time!]

Ango will be getting a very unfortunate memory of a time when a man named Wei Wuxian was very broken. It was a time when he couldn't hear the pleas of someone desperate to save him. All hope was gone and he just wanted to die. At some point, the person beside him was gone, and a group of people laid siege to what was left of his home. He was far too gone to stop anything. When is brother was there to take his life, he just accepted it. It's what he deserved after all that he's done. ]

[Ango should have expected it. Those who smiled the widest smiles often hid pain behind them.

And yet he still wears a shocked expression on his face when he pulls his hand away. Being in the bathtub makes it difficult to get too far away, but for a moment he's as far away as he can be and just staring at WWX.

It only lasts for a moment, though, before he goes right in to pull WWX into a tight hug.]

[ He knows Ango saw something. He can feel it, and from the way he's reacting and pulling away, he has an idea what he may have seen. Or... a few things he may have seen. Sometimes you live a life full of shocking and sorrowful moments.

Then a moment later Ango is pulling him into a hug. He's taken by surprised again and he's frozen in those arms at first. Then he'll relax into the hug. ]

Whatever you saw was another life. It doesn't matter any more.

Even if it doesn't matter, it still hurt when he happened, didn't it?

[What he saw was only a small piece of it, but it's still so much. To experience all of that is...

[ Reaching around him to pat him on the back. No really should have seen it but he fully believe she got what he deserved. ]

Look at this, I got company inside of the tub after all.

...if you want company, I'll stay with you. But maybe not dressed and in a bath?

[He's still in his Foundation uniform, and it's sticking to him.]

Are you saying you want to keep me company undressed out of the bath? I think we're skipping a few steps first.

[ Teasing a bit. He does let his hands drop from Ango as he gives him a wink. ]

We can head back to one of the rooms after we dry off.

I'm saying we should get out and find dry clothes.

[Since he, knows that other name now too.]

[ A pause as thinks about it. ]

You can use the other name if you want. It'll be out soon enough anyways with Yuri being the only one I shared that with.

[ And she probably has shared with the dead.

Ango can't probably enjoy the show of him standing up because white wet robes clinging. Then he'll step out of the the bath to grab one of the towel's. ]

[If not for their emotional journey a moment ago, he might have. But right now it's all emotions no pantsfeelings.]

Alright then. Wei-kun suits you better anyway.

I do have another name, but you'll have to get closer before I share that one.

[ He'll hold out a hand to help him out of the tub if he wants. Come on, let's move this talk some without a taped up cursed mirror. ]

[Can't be romantic with a curse mirror nearby. But sure, out of the tub he goes.]

[ He'll grab another towel to drape it over Ango's shoulders. ]

Yeah, something like that. Though I do feel a little unfair that I'm already calling you something more personal.

[ Since he's heard Ango from Dazai.

And at least they don't have fare to go, but he's still going to use a towel to dry himself as best as he can. ]

I won't peek if you want to take anything off, you know.

I have nothing to change into here, we have to go back to the rooms first. Or at least somewhere with a place to dry clothes.

[He will work on drying his hair and face, though.]

It's different in Japan. We don't have multiple names, we just have our family name and our personal name. 'Sakaguchi' and 'Ango', in my case. And honestly I probably should have insisted that more people call me Sakaguchi, it's how I would be addressed if we were talking professionally.

[But other things seemed more important at the time.]

I did bring my robes. I don't mind lending them to you. I am partially responsible for you bring wet after all.

[ He's taking partial credit only! Right now, he seems to be holding up a towel to see if it's big enough. Hmm. ]

I don't know about that. I kind of like just saying Ango, but if you really prefer it, I'll go back to Sakaguchi.

...no, you can stick with Ango.

[Oh look he even gave permission!

He's not going to take WWX's robes though, and instead turns to give WWX some privacy to change.]

I'll change back at my room, it's fine.

[ Turns to look at him for a moment. ]

You do realize how many layers I wear, right? You can wear the middle, and I'll put on the outer.

[ He usually has one at least three layers of robes. He'll strip down quickly, and just wrap himself up with his outer robes. Then he'll grab the other set to hand over to Ango. ]

...why don't you wear the middle, and I wear the outer?

[He asks that, but whoops WWX already has clothes on.]

And if I walk around in this, people are going to assume things about us.

Maybe I wanted to see what you would look like in red?

[ Also the outer is probably dirtier anyways. ]

I doubt they'll assume anything about you. You're too good for that.

[ Better? Nicer? Seems more rule abiding? ]
